Famous Faces turn out for Journey to Hell opening at Pleasure Beach Resort A host of famous faces were spotted enjoying a day out in Blackpool for the opening of Pleasure Beach Resort’s Halloween event, Journey to Hell. The park’s annual event kicked off last weekend (October 17), with brave celebs joining the public to face a line-up of scare mazes and thrilling rides. This year, Journey to Hell underwent its biggest ever shake up, becoming an all-day event, running from 10am-9pm. It also features three brand new scare mazes, halloween-themed live entertainment and a selection of white-knuckle rides available after dark. Among the celebs was Britain’s Got Talent Winner, Harry Moulding, who took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the day: “Had a blast at last night’s launch of Journey to Hell. Such a brilliant night!” From soap opera royalty, to Love Island alumni, here’s a look at some of the celebrities snapped at the opening of Journey to Hell: Chelsee Healey, actor and soap opera star Sean Fitzy, from the cast of Love Island 2026 Harry Moulding, Britain’s Got Talent winner John Thompson, actor and comedian Married at First Sight star, Amy Kenyon George Sampson, the youngest ever Britain’s Got Talent winner Coronation Street duo, Cait Fitton and Sydney Martin, who play Lauren Bolton and Betsy Swain Professional Ed Sheeran lookalike, Ty Jones Singer Michelle Mckenna, with partner Dan Johnson Leo Cole, who plays Ro in Hollyoakes, previously performed in Journey to Hell as a scare actor Jay Howard, star from Married at First Sight Jude Riordan, of Brassics and Coronation Street The Halloween event will return on Saturday October 24, running every day until October 31. A variety of ticket options are available for guests looking to plan a visit - full day and night tickets (including scare mazes) start from £60, nighttime only tickets (from 6pm) + all scare mazes from £40 and full day and night tickets (without scare mazes) from £33. You never know what someone has had to overcome. ❤️ Sometimes, we look at someone and see their smile without knowing the struggles they've faced behind it. We don't always see the years of bullying, the words that hurt, the moments they felt alone, or the battles they've fought to rebuild their confidence. Growing up, I often felt different because I was born without my left hand. I've experienced staring, pointing, laughing and comments that affected my confidence more than people probably realised. Even today, some of those experiences can still affect how I feel about myself. But those experiences are only one part of my story. They don't define who I am, and they certainly don't determine my worth. That's why I believe it's so important to treat people with kindness, patience and understanding. You never know what someone has been through, what they're struggling with or how much strength it has taken them to get to where they are today. A simple smile, a kind word or making someone feel included might mean more than you'll ever realise. ❤️ Be kind. Don't judge. Never assume.
