POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🦌🏹 COMING SOON…

Some hunts are about the animal.

Others are about the people standing beside you when it all comes together.

Alex’s first bow kill carried a story much bigger than the deer itself—family, tradition, public land, and one unforgettable final season at deer camp with his Papa.

This is a story you won’t want to miss.

🔥 Coming soon from Echoes of the Hunt.

🔥 COMING SOON: Right Place, Right Time 💨
In the chill of a Utah dawn, Derek set out with nothing but a muzzleloader, months of trail-cam hope, and his dad’s stubborn confidence echoing behind him. He didn’t know it yet, but a 65–yard moment was waiting—one that would turn a simple hunt into an unforgettable story of timing, instinct, and a little father–son irony.
A shadow in the aspens.
A breath held tight.
A single shot that changed the entire morning.
Stay tuned for the full story of how Derek ended up exactly where fate needed him… while his dad marched proudly to “his” spot.

🏔️ “Jaycee’s First Big Game Hunt” 🦌
The morning air was sharp with frost and anticipation as Jaycee laced her boots in the dim glow of the truck’s headlights. This was it—her first big game hunt. Turkeys were one thing, but this was different. Months of work at the gym, hours at the range, and a long-distance shooting class that took her out to 1,000 yards had led to this moment.
At 4 a.m., her excitement burned hotter than her coffee. She and her dad hiked in before sunrise, settling on a quiet ridge to watch the world wake up. The horizon turned gold, but the land below stayed still. Morning stretched into noon with no movement, so they slipped into town for water, lunch, and a new plan.
By 3 p.m., they were set up in a fresh spot, glassing the ridges. Time passed quietly—until it didn’t. A herd appeared, a dozen deer drifting through the brush. Two small bucks and, bedded in the shadows, a heavy 4-point. Her pulse spiked—him.
But across the draw, another trio of hunters—grandpa, father, grandson—got too close and spooked the herd. The deer bolted, the big buck with them. Jaycee and her dad ran, a mile over rocky ground, lungs burning.
At the ridge, nothing. Silence. They waited. As dusk settled, two does stepped out—and then the 4-point. Rangefinder: 500 yards. Jaycee steadied herself, squeezed the trigger. A hit, but too far back—his leg. Her stomach dropped.
The buck ran, stopped at 640 yards. She adjusted, breathed, fired again. He staggered, moved fifty yards, then fell.
They reached him in the dark, breath fogging in the cold. Jaycee knelt beside the deer, awe and sorrow mixing in her chest. Her first deer. Her first true test—raw, imperfect, unforgettable.
Under the stars, she whispered a quiet thank you to the mountain, the animal, the hunt.
A beginning she would never forget.
