Shabnam-

For decades, Shabnam Virmani has followed Kabir’s words across borders, documenting his verses through the voices of folk singers in various regions. She has turned this quest into films, music and an archive of the poet’s legacy through the ‘Kabir Project’.

Having brought her search to the Mahindra Kabira Festival in 2016 and again in 2019, she returns to the ghats for the milestone 10th edition.
