I've always been obsessed with ocean/water themed books. Give me all the mermaids, sirens and other sea creatures, and I'm intrigued!🧜‍♀️

🔍 Sunday scavenger hunt 🔍

Thank you @janascozycorner for tagging me in this bookshelf scavenger hunt! I love looking at my shelves to find books for each prompt - so many of these could have doubled up for prompts but I tried to choose books I haven’t before.

I’ve tagged a few people but no pressure 😊 Also feel free to tag me in any scavenger hunt posts you make as they are always fun to create!

📖 A book cover I love - had to be the @fairyloot edition of Divine Rivals. It’s just gorgeous and I love how it captures the story.

📖 A book that made me cry - the ending and epilogue of The Knave and the Moon had me sobbing.

📖 An autobuy author - so many options but had to pick Paisley Hope. I love being part of her street team and I’m really looking forward to picking up Wanted soon.

📖 A book with my favourite colour scheme - red and black is just an elite combination and the cover for Burn of the Everflame is stunning.

📖 The oldest book on my shelf - Book Lovers was the first physical book I probably bought in about 6 years when I got back into reading a few years back.

📖 A five star read on my shelf - The Seven Year Slip is a book I regularly think about. The depiction of grief and the romance was perfect to me.

📖 A book I highly recommend - The Poison Daughter is such a strong standalone romantasy and deserving of the recent hype.

📖 A new book on my shelf - I adore the cover colour change on @theworksstores edition of Grim Tidings so I had to grab a copy whilst awaiting my Afterlight edition.

📖 A romance I love on my shelf - oops, looks like I also picked In Her Own League in my last bookshelf scavenger hunt but in my defence it is a perfect book 🤷🏻‍♀️ Love the romance and the farewell to the Windy City series.

I went through my shelves to look for sprayed edges that I thought deserved to have their moment. And ta-da, here we have a stack filled with some of my favourite spredges! I mean look at that detail!❤️✨️

I could've easily chosen a lot more of my favourite sprayed edges for this one, but I guess we'll just have to do a part two at some point!🤭🙂‍↕️
