Thank you so much Calgary! This years show was definitely one of the best and such a good way to close out convention season 🩷 I tattooed my friends the whole weekend and got to be in the booth amongst super nice, very talented artists 😭
Sometimes it’s unbelievable to me where I’m at right now, with many friends around me, people who like my work, people who trust me to tattoo their faces 😮‍💨 people who support everything I do and want to have conversations beyond the usual networking. Thank you so much to everyone who said hi, grabbed a sticker or wanted to see my glitter paintings in real life. I see your heart and you see mine 🩷

Was an honour tattooing @jayivareetattoo palm 🤘
Getting your palm tattooed is no joke; but they sure do look badass.

Be tough like Jay and get your palm tattooed 😤

I really would love to tattoo more palms. Message me to get one ! Or message me to get a tattoo in general 😜

It’s been TWO YEARS since we opened our doors at Magnolia Tattoo Collective (okay… last week. But who’s counting).

Some days this is an absolute blast. Some days it’s really hard. Business ownership is no joke, and it truly takes a village of like-minded people to build something sustainable.

In just two years, we’ve:

✨ Been nominated for Best Emerging Business two years in a row
✨ Done temporary tattoos at AirdrieFest two years running
✨ Launched a new branch of Magnolia — @heyartist
✨ Donated nearly $4K in product & gift cards to charity auctions
✨ Hosted 5 pop-ups featuring other local businesses
✨ Expanded our studio to include two incredible artists
✨ Traveled for a women-focused tattoo conference (including a work trip to the stunning Butchart Gardens)
✨ Completed and hand-painted a massive mural
✨ Brought in a whole lineup of new vendors
✨ Been published in AirdrieLife (twice!)
✨ Completed the SMARTstart business mentorship program
✨ Attended the YYC Tattoo Convention twice
✨ And become a part of an amazing community of local entrepreneurs and creatives

So grateful for every client, collaborator, artist, and friend who’s been part of this journey.

We’re TWO!! 🎉 Well, we were two last week, but it’s been busy! Come celebrate with us on Saturday, January 31st and help us raise money for the @airdrieabfoodbank!

We’ll be taking pre-bookings and walk-ins for flash on the 31st, and flash books will be available at the event (or DM your artist beforehand).

Plus, through all of January, each artist will be offering gift cards at a promo rate — buy $100, get $120 — a portion of all tattoo and gift card sales will be donated to the food bank.

See you there!
