When one of our own needs support, this community shows up. ❤️

The Mt. Carmel Sun Devil family is coming together for Danny Bowley, a freshman football player who experienced a serious medical emergency during a game and was airlifted for care.

Now it's our turn to rally around Danny and his family as they navigate his recovery and the medical expenses that come with it.

📅 Sunday, November 1, 2026
⏰ 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
📍 Mt. Carmel High School
9550 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego
🎟️ $20 per person

Enjoy three pancakes, two strips of bacon, fresh-squeezed orange juice, music, yard games, and most importantly, a community coming together for one of its own.

I've seen firsthand what happens when our Rancho Peñasquitos and Mt. Carmel communities rally behind someone who needs us. This is one of those moments.

Whether you join us for pancakes or make a donation from afar, every bit of support makes a difference.

**PQ, let's come together and show Danny and the Bowley family what this community is all about! ❤️💛**

**Comment “PANCAKE” and I'll send you the link to purchase tickets or make a donation.**

At this point, we’re calling in a little extra help for the Padres tonight. 🙏⚾️

October baseball will test your nerves, your loyalty and apparently your willingness to try just about anything for a win.

The Padres are back home tonight for Game 3 against the Brewers at 6:30 PM, so grab the crew, wear the gear and come watch it with a room full of San Diego fans who are just as invested as you are.

Cold beer on tap, plenty of great food, TVs and projectors on, and all the postseason energy at Pitchers.

Come for the game. Stay for the food.

Filipino American History Month is the perfect time to celebrate the businesses, creators, professionals, and organizations that help make San Diego’s Filipino community what it is. 🇵🇭

From coffee and Filipino food to beauty, wellness, local makers, professional services, and community organizations, this list is full of places and people worth knowing and supporting.

Some are longtime favorites, some are businesses we personally know and love, and some may be new to you.

Save this post for later, share it with a friend, repost it to your Stories, and tag a Filipino-owned business or organization we missed so we can keep the list growing.

Let’s celebrate Filipino American History Month by showing up for the community, supporting local, and helping more people discover these businesses.
