Via Arte Bakersfield — the crew 🎨🎷🎸

From left to right: Cesareo Garasa, Chase Steiner, Jay Smith, Paul Perez, Lamar Brooks, Marlon Mackey, Jason Dozier-Seals —drums, bass, keys, sax, drums, vocals, drums. All Bakersfield.

Outdoor stage, blue tent, sun cooking, chalk all around us at The Marketplace. This is what live Bakersfield sounds like.

If you were there chalking that day, you heard us. Who was there? 👇

Flashback Friday — found this in the vault from the studio.

Pink shirt, red glasses, same organ, different year. Still practicing the same lick trying to get it clean 😂

This was back when I was woodshedding between lessons. Some things never change.

Who remembers this session? Drop a 🎹 if you want a part 2.

Trying out @yamahamusicusa 's Smart Piano app with my AvantGrand NU1XA. Technology has come a long way but I still have some notes for the developers.

Here's a piano technique that will help build strength in your fourth and fifth fingers which is something we all need help with.
