There is so much health information out there. And honestly? Most of it just makes you feel like you’re doing everything wrong.

This week, I sat down with three amazing people in the wellness space (Wasim, Jazz, and Amanda) who flew in from across the country just for this conversation.

We talked about why ingredients matter more than calories, how to use common sense to cut through the noise (like asking who funded a study before you panic about it), and what you can actually stop stressing about. We made the case for starting small: keeping a few simple habits you can lean on when life gets busy, and then building on those habits
.
This one is practical and genuinely encouraging 🎧Comment PODCAST for link to listen to the episode on Spotify and Apple Podcasts!

This is what we would buy if we could only buy one item at Target… featuring some of my favorite health influencers!!

Items WITHOUT seed oils, artificial dyes, high fructose corn syrup, GMOs, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, and unnecessary ingredients.

These are products made with real food!

5 of the craziest products we found at Target 🤯

Because apparently what America needs is MORE ultra-processed food-like products 😅

Look, we’re all for creativity… but some of these are out of control. Artificial flavors, artificial dyes, seed oils, loads of added sugar + ingredient lists that just keep going.

With chronic disease rates so high in the U.S., we think it’s worth paying attention to what’s actually in our food.

We’ve got your back with the healthy swaps 🙌 Follow the crew for weekly healthier finds 👇

The perfect crispy Persian Tahdig…. aka crispy rice!🍚 @jazzleaf_ shows you how to make it at home!⬇️

INGREDIENTS:
- 3 cups long grain basmati rice
- 1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
- 4½ cups filtered water
- ¼ teaspoon saffron
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ cup avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, cubed

PREPARATION:
1. Place the rice in a large pot and fill it with cold water. Swirl the rice with your hand, then drain the water. Repeat this process two more times until the water runs clear. Let it sit for an hour.
2. Add rice to a large pot with 4½ cups water and salt. Add salt, then place on the stove to parboil over medium/high for 5-7 minutes until the rice is soft on the outside but slightly hard on the inside. Then drain.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of hot water, saffron, turmeric and oil. Pour half the mixture into the bottom of a non-stick pot.
4. Add the parboiled rice and pat down. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, create a few holes in the rice. Pour the remaining saffron water over the rice. Add butter on top.
5. Wrap a kitchen towel over the lid so the water doesn’t drip back on the rice. Cook on medium heat for 45 minutes, until the rice turns crispy on the bottom.
6. Say a prayer & flip for the grand reveal!

just when I thought I hadn’t done much in April…

I arrived in St Pete and immediately had an amazing beach brunch for a friend and Easter at my parents’ house. Not to mention one of my oldest friends got married!!!

It was a month of many small moments, time with friends, family visits, and celebrations, all wrapped up celebrating my cousin’s birthday in Miami.

Getting back to a routine while I’m here has been a struggle but I’ve REALLY enjoyed getting to spend time with my family. It’s the in-between moments especially, you know?
