The reality : Me VS. Me

The most freeing realization on my self love journey has been this.

The mere fact that there is no real competition.

There is no need for comparison, jealousy or envy.

There are no failures.

Realizing that my only competition in my unique story is, me

This realization is freeing.

This realization takes away the stress, pressure and anxieties of "not being enough", because as of today, you are without a doubt exactly who you are meant to be 💕

This realization takes away the jealousy, and envy of "why do they get everything they want" and turns it into "if they can do it, so can I"

This realization allows you to admire and aspire to be the best version of yourself, each and everyday.

This realization allows your "enemies" or those beautiful people who are living YOUR dream, to become role models, to become guides to show you how attainable your dreams truly are 💕

This realization allows you to breathe, knowing that no one can take what is meant for you.

This realization allows you to understand that "rejection" or "failure" is just the universe's way of saying, "be patient there is something better waiting for you, keep going" 💕

Realizing that my only competition is little old me, makes this unique journey of mine feel much less stressful

Learning to listen, observe and adjust my behaviours, words and choices to best support my full authentic happiness, unapologetically 💕

To invest in myself and the coaches and mentors who have allowed me to see how attainable my big ass dreams are, and guiding me through the next few steps 💕

Understanding fully that I am the author of this story and I decided how my chapters are written.

Learning to love and appreciate all versions and experiences I have been through and being so damn proud of everything I've overcome 💕

To become the best version of myself, each day 💕

I now love competing with myself, because my goodness she's a feisty thing ..

And we've got some incredible places and people to impact in this lifetime

You deserve so much happiness 🩷

You deserve so much love 🩷

Are you ready to fall in love with your only true competitor? 🌹

Learning my first steps 🩷

My daily morning steps to convince my brain, that today is going to be a good day

I've learned that I actually enjoy early 5am wake ups, as it allows me to process my plethora of thoughts and emotions and decide which are necessary for the day, and leave the rest behind

I've learned that this extra few hours allows me to incorporate movement, stretching and listening to my favourite music while I learn, heal and strengthen my unique little body

I've learned that I need to get fresh air and sunlight as soon as possible, preferably sunrises daily to remind me of the unique beauty and adventure each day holds

I've always been known as a "bad morning person".

"don't talk to Kate till after ten" - old household rule

I now realize, I was a bad morning person because I didn't have the mindful, peaceful start to the day that my brain requires to participate in this hectic world

My brain needs some time to process JUST the things she's conjured up throughout the last 24 hours before she is able to fully take on the stresses, fears, anxieties, and everything the world has to offer when we step out that front door

Learning my morning steps has been life changing

Learning my morning steps helps me get out of bed, especially on the days I truly don't want to 🖤

To be able to mindlessly attend to my morning routine, now knowing it's when MY personal social battery charges

Then I am able to step into this overwhelming world as calm and peaceful Kate Trapnell, knowing it's all part of the journey

You deserve so much happiness 🩷

You deserve so much love 🩷

Do you start each morning in a panicked rush?

Or do you allow yourself to wake naturally, and enjoy the opportunity to charge up before taking on your day ?

Take control of your morning

Take control of your happiness

Nothing changes, if nothing changes 💕

This is new for me.

Genuine, safe, loving, supportive, warm, easy female connection is very new for me.

To hear out loud another soul identify me as their "best friend" recently unlocked a piece of my heart I didn't know existed.

I've always told myself I didn't NEED friends, I was content alone helping others find their way.

That I didn't NEED to go to parties and be the popular girl.

I've always told myself it was okay to not be "liked" by everyone, because I know that my presence isn't for everyone.

But in reality, this type of love is exactly what my soul has been craving the last decade.

To think that THIS type of love has been available to me this entire time and I've pushed it away, or felt I wasn't worthy.

To think that these gorgeous souls also felt the same way...

I am so grateful for the work I have done to allow my heart to open up to the idea of Female Sisterhood Love.

I am so grateful for the universe gifting me these incredible beings exactly when I needed them, and finally allowing me to fully embrace this sisterhood love.

I have best friends.

I have soul sisters.

I have my star family.

I have never felt more seen, heard and understood.

This love, this genuine connection is life altering.

You deserve so much happiness 💕

You deserve so much love 💕

Promise me you'll keep your heart open enough to find your soul tribe.

I love you, you are so loved.

Let me show you how healing genuine love truly is.
