Paint marbling is one of those art forms that feels like pure magic! Recently, artist Jenniffer Omaitz of @jc_marbling wowed visitors with a live demonstration at our Campus Open House, and now she's returning to BAYarts for two special adult workshops on July 11 or 12.

In Jenniffer's workshop, you'll explore the ancient art of paper marbling while experimenting with colors, patterns, and marbling techniques. Students can expect to make a variety of prints, patterns and discoveries. No experience is necessary.

Register for either session using the link in our bio.

Recently, we hosted our fourth annual Campus Open House, celebrating our exceptional teaching artists with free, hands-on make-and-take art experiences for our community! We’re so grateful for our talented instructors, whose diverse backgrounds, artistic skills, and creative passions allow us to offer meaningful experiences for students of all ages across a wide variety of mediums.

Thank you to all of the teachers who could join us in person this year, and to those who were with us in spirit as well. Explore our class offerings and take a class with one of these amazing instructors! Link in bio.

Coptic stitch book binding was a hit tonight with @jc_marbling 🤩

We had quite a few jokesters in the group, so laughter was plentiful!

There may have moments where our brows were furrowed in concentration to get the stitch technique down, but we all figured it out with Jenniffer’s amazing hand on guidance, and everyone’s books look gorgeous! 😍

Want to have a fun craft night with friends, a significant other, or just for your own solo night of fun?

Stay tuned for May events - announcing soon!

So much fun, this is the later part of the 2-day marbling intensive with Jennifer Omaitz last weekend. Amazing how creative inspiration pushed us through the heat!

July was a fun-filled month! ☀️😎

We started off with @mbyokom at our Artist Talk. Then hung out at Chalk Fest with our featured callers: @dirtycatdesign, @genarticle, @ash.mystic.art, @rosieskocdopole, @real_ronwhite_no_hackers, and @talk_chalk_to_me! And finished out the month with our biggest marbling class yet taught by @jc_marbling.

We loved hanging out with you this month! Stay tuned for all the things coming up this fall at Door 2.
