A new bike, a familiar face, and a day we’ll remember. 🔧🚲

Having you here as your bike came together made this build all the more meaningful. Thank you for your trust, the conversations, and the memories along the way. Here’s to many happy miles on your new ride!

Happy 10/9 Bike Messenger Appreciation Day! Peep some of these random photos of the homies I shot ages ago with a Nikon D90 which was $600 in 2013 🥲 Odee Bankrupted myself scooping that.

Some of the best interactions Ive ever had in my life are from randomly bumping into a homie with a Fixed Gear, Mess Bag & a Boombotix. Politely asking them if I can take their photo and most of the times getting rejected 🥲😂 So I stopped asking for permission, bought an 85mm (which was 127mm on the D90) and I just started sniping people. These interactions are the true birth of Stay Alive!

I’m pleased to announce our group photo exhibition at Principles GI Coffee House in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
Digging through photo archives from some of the best photographers in NYC and beyond, I was reminded just how rich and layered this culture really is.
To all the riders who are going to rock this Saturday — nothing but respect.
I’m truly proud to be part of this culture.

Remembering New York and San Francisco bike messenger Bill "Bill Thee" Meier who passed away February 1, 2015

Bill was one of the most kind, wonderful, & genuine human beings I ever knew. Loved by many far and wide, Bill lives on in our hearts and amongst the ghosts of NYC. When Bill passed the bars filled with bike messengers who spent that night listening to the Grateful Dead.
