POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

World Mental Health Day, 10/10.

I figured today was a great opportunity to share a special role I’ve been playing for the majority of 2026 - Contributor on Cadre.

@joincadre is a social media platform for mental health based right here in Minneapolis. It provides a digital space where people can navigate tough stretches in life through interactions centered around storytelling.

Real people sharing real stories.

The world needs this space now more than ever, and I’m honored to share my experiences and hopefully provide a beacon of light for those traveling through the depths of darkness.

“Livin’ the Dream!” is an unforgettable evening of comedy, storytelling, and music about chasing a dream and everything that comes with it.

The leap of faith. The exhilarating highs. The crushing lows. The unexpected twists, wrong turns, and surprising detours you never saw coming.

What happens when you finally get what you dreamed of? When the dream suddenly shatters? When you get a second chance? Or when you realize the dream you were chasing is no longer the dream you want?

“Livin’ the Dream!” takes you on a hilarious, heartfelt, and poignant journey through the wild ride of following your dreams. It is for every dreamer who has ever taken a chance, faced defeat, started over, or simply refused to give up and held on for one more day.

Hysterically funny. Brutally honest. Unexpected at every turn. After all, sometimes the greatest part of the dream is the journey.

And then there were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another World Major Marathon in the books. My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who donated to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and has supported me on this journey. Together we raised over $6,100 for this organization.

6 marathons - 5 countries - 2.5 years.
Memories, friendships and adventures that will last a lifetime.

Each marathon a different challenge. Some physical, some mental, and some emotional. This one hit all 3 in ways that allowed me to slow down, look around and simply enjoy the ride, feeling everything, surrounded by friends and family who lifted me up along the way.

This idea to run the World Major Marathons for charity started after crossing the finish line of the NYC Marathon 11/2023. Weeks after losing our Mom (10/17/23) and a year after losing our Dad (9/8/2022).

This journey is a way for me to honor the legacy of our Mom and Dad and as a way to process my grief. However the journey has given back to me in ways I never expected. I love you Mom and Dad. ❤️. Cheers to another adventure.

Thank you Sydney, Australia for your warm embrace and hilly course that challenged me in a new way: physically and emotionally. Reminding me when we lead from our heart, we can accomplish anything and that this journey we are on, isn’t a solo one.

One more ⭐️ to go….

A lot of life happened between these photos. My favorite part is that you’re in all of it. Happy seven years. ❤️

I made a list of people who can be hired to provide improvised musical accompaniment to your show. It includes their skills, experience, availability, rates, and contact info.
I’m looking for someone interested in tending the list and, more importantly, a place for the list to exist.
I’m also asking for your help spreading the list to everyone who might be in need of these services, and anyone who would like to be added to it.

The final performance of “1985: Relative Chaos!” is this Saturday (Aug. 15) at 4pm! I cannot believe it’s almost over. It’s been a wild trip reliving infamous Schommer family moments on stage and the audience responses and their connection to the show have been incredible. I truly hope you can join us on Saturday for the last show. Online tickets available now until online ticketing closes at 1:30pm on Saturday and then remaining tickets will be sold at the door before the 4pm show. Show length is 60 minutes, so you can easily catch the show and go to dinner afterwards!
