Got to hang with my fellow Coaches on the #southforkamericanriver last weekend. We ran #thegorge on Saturday and had a blast. Thanks to our badass guide @rypinsfitover50 for teaching us and keeping us afloat!

I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. So here I am with one arm in a sling... and all I can think about is how fantastic JP's Backyard Ultra & Hike is going to be. We're already approaching 300 registrations and are on pace to surpass last year's 600+ participants. If you can't make it to Napa on September 26, we even have a virtual participation option. Jonathan pours his heart into this event, and I'm fortunate to be part of a small but dedicated group of volunteers helping make it happen. Normally, I'm out asking businesses for donations, sponsorships, raffle items, auction items, and gift baskets. I'll keep making those calls with one good arm, but this year, I could really use your help. Here's how you can make a difference: • Register for the event. • Invite a friend or your run club. • Make a donation of any amount. • And most importantly... Do you own a business, work for one, or know someone who does? Would they consider donating merchandise, a gift certificate, a raffle basket, auction item, or becoming a sponsor? The worst they can say is no. The best part of helping Jonathan has been hearing people say, "Yes, I'd love to help." I'd love for more people to experience that feeling. If you have a business connection, or know someone I should contact, please send me a message. I may only have one useful arm for a little while... But I'm still all in. See you September 26. @jpconbrio #JPsBackyardUltraHike #BeAForceForGood https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/Napa/JPsBackyardUltraHike
