my first day as a Laker & my last 💜💛 6 seasons

Working for the Lakers organization has been a complete dream come true. I have accomplished everything and more that I could’ve ever envisioned for myself, all while being surrounded by the most inspiring, hard-working, and caring individuals. This feels like such a massive chapter of not only my career, but of what has made me who I am.

The city of Los Angeles continues to inspire me, and the way that the Lakers family surrounds this city will always warm my heart. I’ve been able to document Lakers history, NBA history, and Los Angeles history.

Once again, I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to work for and represent this organization for the last six years. I’m so excited for the opportunities ahead, because this experience has taught me so much. I feel like I dreamt for the stars & was able to see them shine in the front row.

Thank you, Lakers Family, for all the incredible moments, stories, & most importantly, photographs 📸🫶🏼💜💛

From Kobe’s legacy to the next generation of storytellers — this one’s special. 💜💛 Under the creative direction of Kobe Bryant’s daughter @nataliabryant, this @lakers piece is already iconic. And if you look closely, you might just spot some @1loveie love in the mix 👀🏀 Big s/o to our family member @mikefolabi and we even caught @warren_p_ in there too!

It’s Feature Friday and we caught up with J Diaz @jdeez! J was the first graphic designer for the LA @lakers and has been designing for the team for the past decade. Filipino American, J grew up a huge fan but never expected to be their current Creative Director.
His love of art and design started as a kid and he pursued his passion through school until landing his internship with the team. He’s done incredible work since then, including celebrating Kobe, @NBA All-Star and he designed the Lakers Championship logo in 2020. He strives to never settle and always reach his potential. His work is seen by millions and he hopes “to make the next gen feel about the Lakers the way I did”.
