2020, my first time sledding and filming in
Whistler. This day will forever be amongst my favorite memories in the mountains. @keenanjeff
@leannepelosi @robinvangyn @mariefranceroy
@jdh_films made me feel comfortable and at home
and safe and supported as I learned how to
navigate new terrain. Jeff, being a master
sledsmen and fellow cinematographer offered his
expertise warmly, with no ego and a huge smile, especially when I doubted myself. Strength in humility. Their passionate dedication to the craft showed, but even more was their pure dedication to each other. This wasn’t just a team or a crew, it was a unit. I took this photo of them all as the sun peaked out a bit and was in awe at the collective knowledge that this crew represented. My heroes.

The humble wisdom, encouraging words and friendship they all shared with me that day is something I’ll never forget. Lessons I take with me for life. It’s the glue that holds communities like this together. In the years to come and when I moved to the island and everyday since they became family and everytime we saw each other, no matter how many days or years had gone by, it was like that day and as if no time had passed. Smiles and hugs and stoke. So happy to reunite, always. Jeff & Leanne embody the mentorship that so many have learned from. That paved the way for generations to come 💔

The day after the 4th of July is the dirtiest beach day of the year. That’s why every year on July 5th, our amazing volunteers come together to clean up the mess left behind after Independence Day celebrations.

Thanks to the 1,400+ Surfrider volunteers who showed up to beaches across the country and removed over 50,000 pounds of trash (and counting)! It’s not too late to make a difference - donate to Surfrider today to fund our community of activists and experts working together to keep our beaches clean all year round. Link in bio.

Look who stopped by the Camp Revel fundraiser!! 🧚🏽‍♀️💫 Revel & family are back home in Washington to rest & reset before heading back to Boston Children’s Hospital in July to monitor Revel’s optic pathway glioma brain tumor, & to check in on the cancerous pelvic tumor that was removed last month. But for now she is skipping & jumping home at the camp!

Dylan, Justin, Revel, Hazen, & all of us at Moss want to thank everyone who has contributed to or purchased from the Camp Revel fundraiser 🙏🏼 We have extended the fundraiser past the planned May 31st end date because the amazing donations just kept coming & this fam needs & deserves all the community love & support we can round up.

Time to come together for a local family who is very dear to Moss and to many communities from coast to coast. For the month of May, you can help support @hossandhare & @jdh_films as they navigate the medical needs of one of their 3-year-old twin girls, Revel Rane, who was born with Neurofibromatosis 1 & is bravely facing an upcoming surgery to remove a large cancerous tumor in her pelvis, followed by the treatment of a benign optic pathway glioma brain tumor in hopes of keeping her vision intact.

With the help of generous donations from our community, friends, & local businesses, we’ve created the Camp Revel Marketplace where you can purchase designated items from our website or storefront, & 100% of your purchase will go to the Hoss Hare family to help with the rising costs of medical care, lodging, travel, & more.
