Jeff’s over there being productive for the 2am wake up and I’m laying in bed thinking my legs are way to tired / sore for a park day. My hammy like you want to do what?! 3:15 corral opening 🫣 Let’s get her done! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃

15 miles this morning. The temps were great. The scenery was pretty. Bambi was doing a character stop but we kept going. 😜 There were some brutal hills early in the run I wasn’t expecting. My legs are tired. It wasn’t our fastest but we got it done. Move your feet ❤️🏃🏻‍♀️❤️

It’s been a busy day of running, celebrating Cannon turning 5 and watching football. Weekend slow down!

Such a fun night celebrating Emily and Garret getting married. The venue was super cute. Perfect for the size of their wedding.

Crazy to think we have been doing this Peloton life for 4 years today! It’s definitely been a game changer in our health, fitness and life! So thankful I didn’t listen to Jeff when he said we had a stationary bike we didn’t need the the peloton bike. Now we have 3 bikes, 2 treads and the rower. 🤣 #Peloton

9 miles this morning. We got a later start then I wanted . Somebodies heart rate was high and it wasn’t mine for the first time. So we took it easy. It was hot! I’m ready for cooler temps! @jdlowe72

First photo dump of the 💜4th Annual Dopey Lake Trip💚!

Day 1 started with what any Dopey-related gathering consists of - a run!

This was my first run since the Dollywood Half Marathon Weekend in April and it felt okay. There were good “in the flow” moments as well as “this sucks” moments - but at least it was relatively entertaining.

@duwhit “Whitney Walked” circles around me, we had some great views (with a character stop!), and I finally broke in my new Asics NovaBlast 6 from @central_ekiden !

It was a nice little start to our trip and is hopefully the start of getting out of some run-related burnout post Perfect Season. Thankful for friends that will drag you out to get it done!

The 4th Dopey lake trip has come to an end. We had a great time both on and off the water. We have always tried to make Jeff feel like part of the weekend but this year he is officially part of it after completing Dopey in January! Here is to the early mornings, the tired legs, the shared laughs, and every single mile that turns into a lasting memory!
