Every #monstermonday @asortaokaybuilder shares little brick-built creatures fit for a fantasy adventure. So what's with these perfectly mundane fixtures of modern city life? They're Mimics! Built for a collab with our friend @jdm_bricks these modern mimics need some urban heroes to rumble with, and Jacob obliges with the Unruly Youths Adventure Club. It's such a fun collab, we'd love to see more of this fantastical setting built out.

Six mimics: One for each of the Unruly Youths to hunt down as they delve into the deepest dungeon of all: The Big City.
How many of them will be discovered accidentally while simply loitering?

The Star Wars universe is home to many of the most iconic characters and creatures of all time, but as we've seen with projects like Visions, there is still plenty of room to filter the world through a more personal lens. In celebration of May the 4th, we present the galaxy reimagined by @jdm_bricks

"The idea behind these figures was pretty straightforward, I wanted to make something Star Wars related without using licensed pieces! The idea kind of grew into something else though, and I found myself straying further and further from the source material.

I had referenced a lot of Ralph McQuarrie artwork initially, but started looking at a lot of other sci-fi properties. I think the Dune influence is pretty obvious! But I also found myself influenced by artwork from a ton of other IP’s, Red Rising was one that kept turning up.

After a bit of table-scrapping, I decided to just go for a “reimagined” concept of the Star Wars universe. It’s been fun taking a look at all of the different eras of Star Wars, and giving my own spin to the factions."

Featuring The Jedi, The Sith, The Rebels, The Empire, The Separatists, The Clone Army, Jawas, Tusken Raiders, and The Night Witches of Dathomir.

The Goblin’s Day of Fool’s is a yearly tradition celebrated by many goblins. It promotes mischief, lightheartedness, and playfulness. Every year Boblin gathers with his friends for a night of revelry and festivities.

Swipe to see the future!

If you have swiped all the way to the end you might be surprised. This is just a simple sketch of Ethron. I'm currently learning how to draw because I believe that drawing is the ultimate form of art. It allows you to create something out of basically nothing. I'm still learning, so please don't obliterate me in the comments 😅

The incident with Ehrons original head piece made me realise that LEGO will not allowe me bring my charaters to live forever. But drawing them will. That's the main reason why I want learn how to draw.

You knew I’d have to do this genre eventually! I think I’d have to say that Gandalf is one of my favorite characters of all the books and the actor @ianmckellen is one of my favorite people on the silver screen.
