Riding motorcycles at exhilarating speeds is perhaps something that can’t really be relayed, it has to be experienced, and most never will…

After one such 200 mile ride, I disembarked amidst a group of nonconformists, listening to counterculture musings on the nature of public perception. I didn’t stick around for the talk. Behind the back of the graffitied dilapidated building, I ran into another nomad, I first met in the Nevada desert 12 years ago. His friend turned and nodded to me, “Nice entrance!” This time the location was a forsaken village, south of California’s Palm Desert, by a decaying sea that 70 years or so ago, fell foul to agricultural runoffs. To us, it was a jewel in a wasteland.

For my entire time there, I couldn’t find words better than, “This is so cool!” to describe the awesomeness that ensued. Each moment, never to be repeated, was full of badass, unapologetic, renegade art, the very epitome of cool, and it lit my soul.

(Notice even the roach couldn’t be contained.)

RIP Seymour Stein. You will be missed my friend.

We carried on the birthday lei for Nicole last night. It was incredible!

Turtles are sacred in the Hawaiian culture…when you toss a lei (or the flowers of the lei) around a turtle, it is believed that your loved one’s spirit visits and the flowers float out to sea.

We had success. We threw the flowers, wishing Nicole a happy birthday and the turtle came and swam through them. It was an emotional moment. ♥️🌺 The last picture has the turtle in it! This is the best! #familytime #maui

to be the purple cow in a field of monochrome Holsteins.
