🏁 West Coast Points Championship: Countdown to Buttonwillow! 🏁

The West Coast Points Championship is entering its final stretch, and the stakes couldn’t be higher as we head into the Buttonwillow Race this weekend! With a Double Points Weekend on tap, the battle for the title is wide open—anything can happen as we wind down the season.

🔔 Important Points Deductions - OUT OF COMPLIANCE

🚨 Case #1: Chris Miranda (Aviotti Racing)

Penalty: Points deducted for running illegal rear camber bushings at Sonoma on Saturday.
Action: Miranda was disqualified from the race, and corresponding points have been removed.
Note: Drop races do not apply to DQ situations, so these points are permanently lost.
🚨 Case #2: Tim Moser (Aviotti Racing)

Penalty: DQ’d for running an illegal tune at Willow Springs.
Action: Moser has had points removed from the official standings.
With both drivers from Aviotti Racing facing penalties, the points table is shifting, and it’s all to play for as we head into the final race weekend.

⚔️ What’s on the Line: This Double Points Weekend means that every position matters more than ever. Drivers still in the hunt for the title must push their limits, but now they’ll also need to be extra strategic to avoid costly mistakes in this high-stakes finale.

📅 Race Details:

Event: Buttonwillow Race Weekend
Date: 11/16-11/17
Location: Buttonwillow Raceway, California
Double Points: Up for grabs all weekend!
The season’s championship could be decided this weekend—who will rise to the occasion? Get ready for a thrilling, high-energy finale!

🏆 Let the West Coast Battle Begin!

@dmh951 takes pole for today’s race just a tick faster than @a.p._miranda and @joshcarroll238 a blink behind the leaders with a tight group all over! It’s going to be a great race. Pulling data from the top cars to assure parity among racers.

Unfortunately the live streaming will not be available today as the service out here is too spotty for a quality stream.

An out-of-class car smashed into @jeffreylherbert at @racesonoma resulting in a bent upper control arm and body damage, but thanks to teamwork between him and his son, everything’s back on track and ready for the next race!
