Honored to have worked alongside everyone for the project “The man I Love” Short Film by Kai Tan. Everyone was fun to work alongside with and I am blessed to have been able to learn and grow alongside the masters of the craft. This work of art recalls the history of the Upstairs Lounge fire which happened 53 years ago on June 24th, 1973 in New Orleans where 32 people were killed. The city’s filled with history and sometimes we tend to get caught up in today. Congrats to the Astute writer and the team for visionaries along tedious tasks for earning Nomination for the Louisiana Film Prize Festival.

That's a wrap on THE MAN I LOVE.

Fifty-three years ago on June 24th, 1973, thirty-two people died in the UpStairs Lounge fire, here in New Orleans.

For a long time, this city looked away from them. This film is my way of not looking away. It asks what happens to those left behind in the wake of a tragedy born of hate.

A labor of love, shot over two days in New Orleans, Louisiana - a small cast, a crew that gave everything, and a story that felt right to tell now, filmed in the very week the tragedy unfolded.

To everyone who stood on that set to tell this story, a love story at its core, I'm deeply grateful.

You'll see your names tagged below, because none of this exists without you.

Now it goes into the edit.

There's more to come. ❤️

Every line I’ve ever spun is the character of what I’ll become.
Every frame is motioning a mental state that’s bound to come undone.

Amityvillenado is definitely one of the more fun Amityville movies I’ve watched lately. The movie is packed with goofy names, ridiculous moments, and little shout-outs to all the insane Amityville spin-offs that have come out over the years. It honestly feels like the filmmakers know exactly how ridiculous this franchise has become and just decided to embrace the chaos. And look, the fact that one of the characters spends half the movie dealing with irritable bowel syndrome and trying not to shit already earns points from me because I have the humor of a 12 year old apparently. The whole thing has this weird low budget punk rock energy where it feels messy, loud, stupid, self aware, and honestly kind of lovable because of it. This is absolutely not high art, but it’s the kind of movie you throw on late at night with snacks and beer and just have fun with.
