Montréal showed up in style for Showroom + Market 001, the three-day collaboration between @lignesdefuite.studio, @atelierartifact and @galerie_mold during Montréal Fashion Week.

Curated by @atelierartifact, the event brought together independent fashion, and jewellery, with furniture and objects by @galerie_mold, ceramics by @zap__studio and keychains by @jejuneworld.

LIMINUL joined Friday’s final evening, with @faussemaison, @valmora_official and @kendrickttran presenting alongside the market. An open-door introduction to the designers and their work, with plenty to look at among the guests, too.

Welcome to another episode of Filipina Diaries: Fashion Week Series ✨

Three years ago, I was just an immigrant in a big city trying to find my place in the fashion community.

I remember buying a ticket and sitting in the audience, dreaming of what it would feel like to be part of it all.

This year, I was invited as a VIP by @fashionarttoronto

A full-circle moment that still feels surreal.

Walking through the Distillery District, meeting talented creatives, and experiencing these incredible collections reminded me why I fell in love with fashion in the first place.

Every designer brought a unique story to the runway.

@ayimach_horizons beautifully blended Indigenous futurism, land, light, and identity. @leidybeibi challenged convention with bold designs inspired by heritage, rebellion, and self-expression. @charlizetherrien found beauty in fragility and transformation, while @byebyetiina explored the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability. @jejuneworld turned everyday rituals and coffee culture into wearable art, and @wabanoonkwe closed the evening with romantic couture inspired by traditional beadwork, roses, and timeless elegance.

What I loved most was seeing so many different voices represented. Different cultures, different perspectives, and different stories all sharing the same runway.

As a Filipina and someone who came to Toronto looking for a place to belong, moments like this make me incredibly proud. Proud to live in a city where diversity is celebrated, where creativity thrives, and where people from different backgrounds can come together through art and fashion.

Because fashion isn't just about what we wear.

It's about storytelling.

It's about culture.

It's about connection.

And most of all, it's about the people you meet along the way.
