Just like that, Amir officially finished daycare at CFA. ❤️

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for the incredible teachers who loved and cared for my little guy these past few years. Having him right up the road meant I could sneak away for lunch dates, pick him up when he needed me, and be a part of so many little moments that I’ll never take for granted.

Those lunch breaks were chaotic, messy, and full of unnecessary snacks—but I would do every single one again.

I hadn’t shed a tear until Idris looked at Amir and said, “Amir, we will always be partners.” 🥹

Now excuse me while I pick up a cup full of Goldfish and snacks for the very last time for the Martinez boys.

On to kindergarten, buddy. We’re so proud of you!

“This room was transformational!”… a year ago, we brought together a room of about 40 men at “The Edge: Men’s Leadership Retreat” and created a space for them to engage with top leaders and execs from the Falcons, Hawks, Microsoft, Chick-Fil-A, Bank of America as well as some of the top entrepreneurs across Atlanta. The space was amazing and the impact remains today. As the pressures of the world continue to mount, it’s time we run it back. Stay tuned.

I recently had the honor of participating in Fashion for a Cure, an inspiring event dedicated to raising critical funds for the Emory Winship Cancer Institute. It was such a meaningful experience—not only because of the cause, but because I was able to share it alongside my family.

This experience felt like a continuation of my journey and the purpose I’ve found within it. Opportunities like this reinforce my mission to be a source of encouragement and light for others navigating similar paths.

I’m incredibly grateful to Emory Winship for capturing my story and allowing me to be part of such a powerful experience—one that not only celebrates survivorship, but actively supports life-saving research and care.

First, Thank you God! Without him I would not have finished.

So this journey has been amazing… it started November of 24’. This when I decided to take my health seriously again. After a tough conversation with my doctor and a few friends I knew it was time to attack this head on. I had no idea it would end up with me running a marathon 1.5 years later but we often don’t know where the journey ends only that we need to begin.

Next, I have to thank everyone who came out and supported me yesterday. I truly believe the circle I have is unmatched. Not only did they show up yesterday but they’ve shown up consistently throughout my life and my training. Whether is them actually training with me or just an encouraging text. Whenever I need them they are there and that was proven to me again yesterday. I love y’all and appreciate y’all.

To my wife and daughter… y’all allow me to be who I am and I aiming to be the highest version of myself for y’all. I love you both to the end of the world no question. Thank you for letting me do crazy things!
