This is a peek at what happens when you give AAPI storytellers a stage 🎤 To the 2025 Beyond the Page cohort, you showed up, you got uncomfortable, and you DID. THAT 🤩💐

Over the course of the program, they discovered that their stories mattered, built the confidence to share them out loud, and found community in the variety of AAPI experiences in the room.

We are so proud of every single one of them. You’ll be able to hear their full stories on our website and IG soon!

With that, Beyond the Page is back and now open for registration! This year’s cohort centers AAPIs who identify as LGBTQIA+ and gender-expansive, a space intentionally built to nurture your stories and your voice.

I loved this year. 2025 was good to me. From finishing and releasing my first real album Between Us There Runs a Tether with my incredible bandmates @ianbakerman and @noahross, to the sold out release show at @publicrecords, to then composing and providing music for @oscardelarenta, and finally closing out with performing at Madison Square Garden, I feel like this the most pinch me year of my life so far. I have the best friends, and the most supportive circle I could dream of having. Thanks for being along for this journey, and 2026 is already looking like it’ll be even more exciting. It’s weird because while this is a year when the world has been so dark, so irreconcilably fucked up, and things have been tough for people I love, I feel strange that everything is happening the way it is right now. Anyway, I’m gonna go have some Chinese food and watch Marty Supreme. Filled with gratitude and love, here’s to another great year ~
