Take care of your body & it will take care of you 👏

Travel & fitness go hand in hand - without one you can’t do the other!

We like to keep things interesting when it comes to our fitness and always try to adapt to the local area when we can, for example in Bali we are taking full advantage of surfing and yoga, but next month this may be hiking & Muay Thai! 🥳

Do you train while you travel?

We didn’t know this should have been on our bucket list until we got to do it! 👏

Moalboal on Cebu island is home to the second largest sardine run in the world, and because it’s a protected area this also draws other big life - mainly turtles! 🐢🐟

To be in the water with apparently 10 million+ sardines and swim between them is really something special!

And the best bit?

You can do this for FREE! 👇

Because they sit literally just off the coast on the edge of the reef wall you have the option to simply swim out with a mask/snorkel and look down, free dive down to them or if you want to get under them then book a dive - we did all 3 between us and can highly recommend you add this to your must do list!

If you don’t have a mask or goggles then you can rent one for next to nothing right next to the beach!

2023 - What a year!

👶🏻 1 birth
💍 1 marriage
🏠 1 home made and left
🌎 7 countries visited
✈️ 20 flights taken

2023 bought so many amazing and life changing events -

Our little Leo joined the team meaning we’re no longer just a travel couple, but a travel family!

We got married in London with all of our friends and family around us

We made the perfect home in London to bring Leo home to and figure out this whole parenting thing, then we moved out to begin this new chapter at the start of October!

We’ve taken Leo to France, America, Albania, the UAE, Mexico, The Philippines and Japan!

We’ve experienced a total of 20 flights with a baby ranging from 12 weeks (London to San Francisco) to 10.5 months (Dallas to Tokyo)

We are ending our 2023 in Tokyo, and starting the new year by flying back to Bangkok - the first city we landed in back in February 2020 having just left our careers to begin a life of travel!

If 2024 is half as amazing as 2023 then we’re in for a great year! 👏🥳

Wishing you all a happy 2024!

We read a lot of negative reviews about this place, people saying it was disappointing as it was ‘just a concrete block with nothing else around’ so we initially weren’t going to check it out 👇

Luckily on a drive around the island we decided to stop by and thank goodness we did!! This place was so beautiful!! We honestly have no idea who is writing negative things about this place 👏

The water at Salagdoong is crystal clear and the little beach area is perfect for laying out once you’ve finished jumping!

You can see it used to be more built up with closed down restaurants and shops nearby but for us the fact it’s quite only added to the experience!

Have you been to Salagdoong? What did you think!?

Siquijor Photo Dump 🩵

This little island ticked so many boxes for us and quickly became one of our favourite spots in the Philippines!

We originally planned on spending 5 nights here but it ended up being cut to 3 nights when Leo became unwell - it just means we’ll have to go back next time we’re here!

Which island is your favourite in the Philippines!?

The beautiful Kawasan Falls 🩵

This waterfall had so much hype around it & we’d seen so many incredible images all over instagram we couldn’t wait to check it out! But did it live up to the hype..? 👇

While the waterfall itself and the 20 minute walk leading up to it are absolutely beautiful, the overall experience felt a little underwhelming for us, here’s why:

1. This waterfall is Cebu’s most famous, and famous attractions come with crowds! Large groups shouting and posing for group photos kind of ruin any peaceful environment the photos may show. Swipe to the last image to see the reality of the falls!

2. Life jackets are a requirement when swimming in the falls and lifeguards with whistle are there to ensure people are following rules - while neither of these things are actually negatives, we prefer the feel of less regulated and quiet waterfalls we’ve visit previously

3. There are 3 levels to the falls, but unless you pay to do a canyoneering trip (which with Leo was impossible!) then you only get to see level 1. This is by far the most crowded level as it’s the bottom one and the end of the canyoneering trip. Levels 2 & 3 are much quieter!

Overall, the falls are an amazing place to visit and one to check off if you’re on Cebu, just go with the expectation of crowds and rules - Alex later did the canyoneering trip & can confirm it means you see the best of the falls higher up! 👏

3 lessons we’ve learned so far travelling as a family:
Plans will not go according to plan, and that’s okay
Things need to move even slower than we anticipated, and that too is okay
There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching your baby experience the world around them
Do you have a number 4?

Date nights look a little different these days, but they’re just as special as they’ve always been ❤️

Going from two to three changes a lot of things, but change is good 🥰
