Unpopular opinion: kids can work hard, love the game, and still have a whole lot of fun along the way 🏒

That 80/20 hockey life. Let ’em be kids✌️

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Souter to the Victoria Grizzlies as our new Manager, Community Partnerships.

Jennifer recently earned her MBA from Royal Roads University and is well known throughout our community for her volunteer work with JDF Minor Hockey and her passion for growing the game.

In her new role, Jennifer will focus on building relationships with schools, minor sports organizations, businesses and community groups while helping introduce more families to the Victoria Grizzlies and Victoria Shamrocks.

We’re excited to have Jennifer join our business team and look forward to the impact she’ll have as we continue growing the game throughout the West Shore.

Welcome to Bear Country, Jennifer!

POV: your team manager said “let’s do something fun…” 😜🔥

Next thing you know: real fire. real hockey. zero regrets. 🔥🏒

Meet Kate! The photographer behind these shots and the creative genius who somehow managed to make a bunch of hockey kids look like they’re starring in a Tom Cruise action movie. She brought the vision, the patience, and the magic… 🪄 and honestly this whole vibe wouldn’t exist without her. 🔥

And the brains 🧠 behind the flames: Collin @wildpics_cm 🔥 (Kate’s husband), who made the fire happen safely and perfectly. Because YES, these are REAL controlled flames. No kids, no gear and no sticks were harmed in the making of these photos (the only casualty was our ability to ever do a normal team photo again). 😅🏒🔥

A.I. could neverrrrrr. 😜👌

Go follow the amazing Kate @wrenphotolab and book your own team action movie ✨moment✨

🎥✨ Behind the scenes with the AMAZING @jennsouter (yes, that Jenn from Ink Master this season 😱)! I just HAD to share some highlights because this woman is pure 🔥.

Not only is she a tattoo queen, but she’s brave, incredibly smart, and hands-down the BEST mom ever. 💖 Plus, she’s gorgeous on the inside and out—honestly, how does she do it all?? 😍

Please ignore my very excited squeals of “It’s Jenn!” 🤭 I mean... I’m basically friends with a celeb, right? 😂💫

Totally fangirling over here !

Last practice. Been a while since I’ve posted as we gear up to move continents. What a whirlwind of a season, literally best season - hands down. To the amazing association, coaching staff parents, players, team managers and coaches plus coach on ice volunteers. Can’t forget Austin at Rodes Closed Goaltending. 24/25, you set the bar high.
