RHAA worked with Jensen Architects, ZPZ Partners of Italy, and school staff to develop a new campus for La Scuola in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project includes the renovation of two historic buildings and the construction of a contemporary new classroom building. The landscape design includes rooftop learning spaces, outdoor classroom and collaborative spaces, a garden classroom, and play spaces. Each aspect of the design was developed to support the schools Reggio Emilia pedagogy and its rigorous IB Curriculum framework. La Scuola is the first International Baccalaureate (IB) K-8 World School in San Francisco and the first Reggio Emilia – IB - Italian Immersion school in the world. #rhaa #landscapearchitecture #education #sanfranciscoschools

Stanford University Deep Lab

Then and Now
Deep Lab is the strategic adaptive reuse of an existing concrete structure at the heart of Stanford University. This monolithic scientific infrastructure, built 60 feet underground, was originally constructed for early electron-scattering research in the 1960s. After decades of limited use, the University partnered with the Jensen Architects to undertake a thoughtful and strategic transformation. Instead of demolishing the structure’s dense concrete mass, the project embraces its inherent isolation—turning a logistical and environmental challenge into an ideal setting for nanoscale research. Aligning form and function, the building’s subterranean depth and structural density provide the rare, vibration-free environment and magnetic shielding perfectly attuned to welcome Stanford’s Nano Shared Facilities program.

Luxury isn’t about expensive materials—it’s about flawless execution.

This custom master bathroom is another example of the craftsmanship we bring to every remodel.

Every detail was carefully planned and built to create a clean, timeless design:

✔️ Large-format porcelain tile installation
✔️ Custom floating shower bench
✔️ Hand-built recessed niches with seamless mitered edges
✔️ Linear shower layout with center drain integration
✔️ Freestanding soaking tub
✔️ Brushed gold plumbing fixtures
✔️ Precision waterproofing and premium installation standards

The difference between an average bathroom and a truly custom one isn’t the tile—it’s the precision behind every cut, every corner, and every finish.

At Pro Rock Construction, we believe quality is something you notice every single day after the project is complete.

If you’re planning a bathroom, kitchen, or whole-home remodel in the Bay Area, we’d be happy to help bring your vision to life.

📍Serving San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale and surrounding Bay Area.

Four stories. One bold vision. A school built for how kids actually learn.

We're proud to complete La Scuola International School's new Mission Campus, a purpose-built vertical campus in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.

Inside: modern classrooms, fully equipped teaching kitchens, and a rooftop deck where learning spills out into the open air.

La Scuola's approach treats the environment as the "third teacher," so every space was designed to spark curiosity and hands-on discovery. We self-performed the structural and interior scopes that mattered most to make that vision real, down to the detail.

Build Group is proud to be building what the city needs more of and something that will serve students and the community for generations.

Thank you to the @la_scuola_international_school team, @zpzpartners + @jensen_architects, and our incredible trade partners.

We are pleased to share that the first phase of India Basin Waterfront Park received an Honor Award at the recent 2026 @aiasf Design Awards Ceremony. This honor is shared with our client and community partners @sfrecpark @trustforpublicland @aprisf and our architectural team members @jensen_architects , who brought the unusually sited and locally programmed, small park buildings in the design plan into full and vibrant life that already activates Phase 1 of the park.

For over a decade, we’ve been honored to be entrusted with the overall planning and design of this special project, from the neighborhood-driven planning and programming, to community-inspired site design and detailing, to collaborating with a talented team of consultants and contractors on making concepts into reality, since winning a design competition in 2016.

Situated along 1.5 miles of San Francisco Bay shoreline in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood, this project transforms a historically industrial site into a resilient waterfront park that is connected to a long-isolated but vibrant neighborhood.

Restored tidal wetlands, native plantings, and marsh create a thriving ecosystem and climate resilience, while new walkways connect long-isolated neighborhoods to the water — reclaiming a polluted shoreline as an inclusive landscape bridging nature and community.
