Two more sleeps till go time…

Today was about having fun, connecting with old friends, and soaking up a bit of the “KONA” energy.

It’s amazing to be here with such an inspiring group of individuals that make up RŌKA STNDRD Racing, and I’m excited to see each and every one out there on course, plus all the family, friends and RŌKA Multisport staff pumping us up along the way!

RŌKA STNDRD Racing Ironman World Championship team hits the race course in 2 sleeps. I am so grateful to be racing in Kona, to be on this team of amazing humans, and to have the amazing support of RŌKA Multisport.

I have been in the sport of triathlon a long time and the relationships I have built make the journey of racing so much more fun. I’m as excited to see my teammates race their hearts out as I am to see what I can do. 😊

Let’s go!

Tuesday: a little ocean swim, a little bike ride, a little run and catching up with the Rōka crew…

Good company, familiar faces, and plenty of race-week chatter. This is the good stuff.

One day closer. 4 days to go. 🌺

Some friends bring the heat, some friends bring the curse of a cancelled swim. And some bring both @jensuv 🔥
Not going to lie, I was pretty bummed that the amateurs had a cancelled swim. But it was the right call to keep the race safe. Proud if myself that I kept the emotions at bay and got after it on the bike. Ended up biking 3-min faster than last year. Chasing @jensylva always makes you push a little extra 💨
Great to share the course with so many familiar faces, but especially my @roka_stndrd_racing crew: @jensuv, @jensylva and @wasatchbody! Oh and the cheers and splits from @liistri_s were legendary!

😂 Her boys show their love by calling her fat and slow. And she would not have it any other way. That is the kind of relationship Jennifer Sylva has built with her three sons while also coaching herself to an Ironman Jacksonville championship, navigating one of the hardest seasons of her life, and showing up every single day.

Humor, heartache, faith, panic attacks in the pool, a DNF she refuses to call failure, and a win eight years in the making.

I had so much joy in this one 🤩. New episode out now, link in bio.

I love racing, but sometimes watching a friend chase down a dream and achieve it feels like a victory all its own. ❤️

I’ve have the privilege of training alongside Jen whenever our busy mom schedules allow. As RŌKA STNDRD Racing teammates, we’ve shared miles, workouts, conversations, and the balancing act of pursuing big goals while raising families.

What people saw at Ironman Jacksonville was an incredible athlete crossing the finish line first. What I saw was the culmination of countless early mornings, sacrifices, disciplined training sessions, and unwavering determination.

Seeing her stand on top of that podium wasn’t surprising—it was deserved.

Congratulations, Jen. Watching your victory firsthand was something special, and it’s definitely inspired me to get back out there and start chasing some goals of my own. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️💪

Love you my friend! 🫶🏻
