From one court to the next, we’re building connections that go beyond basketball! 🏀🤝

We had an amazing time visiting Howard Community College! Our Athletic Director @jeredlyons loved connecting with their coaching staff, and we’re excited to continue building relationships that create opportunities for student-athletes.

Your journey doesn’t have to end after two years at community college. At Washington Adventist University, we’re here to help you take that next step, both academically and athletically.

Looking to transfer and continue your basketball career at a university that genuinely cares about your future? We’d love to connect with you!

📩 Send us a DM! Our Admissions team is ready to help you explore your next steps.

𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 ⁣
We had a chance to sit down with Alumnae Maggie Tien @magggsss11 now assistant for UMBC Women’s Basketball. She gave some advice for those looking to get into the profession!

This summer we will release our in-house mini coaching documentary where we will dive into several story lines! We will hear from:

Dr. Emily Piazza - Former Player & Assistant
Chris Mabry - Former Player & Assistant Coach at Dickinson College.
Aby Diop - Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Dickinson College
Ana Allen - Former Player & Current Assistant Coach
Adrienne Dunning - Current Assistant Coach & Former player at American University.

This is just a small clip🎬 (Realtionships Matter). Julie Kauffman & HC Jered Lyons were GA’s together at Hood College in 2009 were their friendship started. Coach Julie reached out about Maggie in 2021 about a role the Mount was trying to fill. They took a chance on Maggie and the rest is history! We’re thankful for Coach Julie & Coach White for giving her the first opportunity.

Stay tuned for more!
