Don’t make the mistake of counting them out by busying yourself with worrying about the non-factors because they don’t matter and never will.

Ever. _____x✍🏾
Let me remind you that right now, the weather in New York is cold and around 30°.
_______________
I don’t associate myself with people that push people that they claim to love, to become jobless, #broke, #homeless, hopeless, depressed and suicidal. Everything isn’t “mental illness”. People are foul and it hurts some to a point where they don’t know how to heal.

A Moment Of Gratitude:
Words could not express how much I love my Mother. I mean, not only did she birth me, she took care of her body while I was in it and healthily delivered #twins.
Very classy, gorgeous, and so well-spoken. With her, I was never subjected to any physical nor verbal abuse, pedophiles, and all other nightmarish things that unfortunately, some children do suffer. God Bless Them.♥️
She’d say things like, “Y’all don’t know how lucky y’all have it.”, and she meant it not to scare us, but to get us to open our eyes to the reality of the World, and always practice #gratitude. She encouraged us to not litter and to be respectful. She barely scolded us. Her and my Dad didn’t even give us a curfew. #Brooklyn in the 90’s-00’s? 😳 We were good kids though. Still, that’s a lot of trust! She never utters hateful words like, “I should’ve aborted you.”, and craziness like that.
She’d put on our favorite movies and educational programs, encouraging us to read and write. We would even have art time, and I tell you, she is such an artist. She can scale. One year, she last minute made my twin sister, a grape Kool-Aid packet Halloween costume and one of my other sisters, a video game system. (They both won.) God knows, her and my Dad always had every Christmas looking like F•A•O Schwarz and they always took us there & let us play on the giant piano, and above all things, let us be kids! Disney On Ice, the whole nine!
Friends and spouses are always welcome and treated like family. She never makes you feel uncomfortable. You automatically become her niece/nephew/daughter or son-in-law, and no matter what happens, the title never changes. My Mother NEVER acted funny to other peoples’ kids and NEVER spewed hate against anyone’s race and dating preference. She had more important things to do. (☝🏾🌸 VERY important stuff.) It’s things like these that I examine and value all of the right choices she made. Her friends love her. She’s usually the favorite aunt. At times, she’s too nice and it stresses me out. I be looking crazy, getting mad about it. We all do! 🤣 But that’s why I love her.
A Queen in her own right. Lisa Marie, #HappyMothersDay!
Thank you. 🙏🏾♥️👑💐✨

All children of this Beautiful World are Precious and it’s our job to look out for them. To do right by them.

This past Saturday, I volunteered with 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀® (@EastRiverKiwanis) at the Ronald McDonald House (@rmhc) of Long Island (@rmhli). An experience I can’t really put into words. This is my first time as a McDonald’s (@McDonalds) shareholder and 𝗞𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀® (@kiwanis) board member.
It’s a blessing to see the works of something you proudly stood by since childhood, firsthand.

🔝 #Message: NEVER WILL I EVER...purposely ignore my friends, family, and sometimes, even strangers when they need me. If I’m capable of doing something, it gets done.
There ARE people out there that are 100% for you, and you must hold out until your souls find each other. Don’t just sit around anyone. Please believe me when I tell you there is no greater feeling. As long as you’re dying for approval, you’ll always feel like you’re not good enough. Trust me, you gotta love yourself first, leave these clowns alone and just let people be whack.

This man didn’t ask for money and he wasn’t drunk. Just a guy with a message and energy levels so high to the point where he filled a NYC train cart with warmth and positivity.
So many people kept looking over and smiling, even the dog liked him. This is a clip from my SnapChat Story that I had also uploaded to my Instagram Story that night.
Also very important: If children and pets like you, that speaks volumes.
