A note from our CEO šŸ’œ ā€œThere are moments when being silent can feel easier. But silence can also become part of the problem. As a man, a brother, a son, a friend, a colleague, and as CEO and co-owner of LIFT FIT, I believe men have a responsibility to be part of creating a world where women feel safe, respected and heard. Around 70% of the people who choose to support LIFT FIT are women. They train in our clothing, support our business, recommend our brand and have helped build this community alongside us. Our retail stores are run 100% by women. But this message isnā€™t about customers or business. Itā€™s about people. Too many women have stories of feeling unsafe, intimidated, harassed or threatened. And too often, the behaviour that causes it is excused, ignored, laughed off, minimised - or allowed to continue because those around it choose not to intervene. That needs to change. Standing against violence and intimidation towards women means more than condemning the worst acts after they happen. It means challenging the behaviours, attitudes and conversations that allow women to feel unsafe in the first place. And as men, we have a particular responsibility in that. To listen. To believe. To speak up. To call out behaviour that isnā€™t acceptable - even when itā€™s a friend, colleague or someone we know. And to make sure the women around us know that their safety matters more than our comfort. To the women in our LIFT FIT community: we see you, we value you, and we stand with you. Our tricet has always represented strength. Today, we wear it in purple as a symbol of something we believe strength should also mean: The courage to stand up for others. Strong looks good on you. Standing up for whatā€™s right looks good on all of us.ā€ Mike Hewan CEO & Co-Owner LIFT FIT

Most things on your feed are designed to keep you scrolling. This was designed to get people off it. Around a table. Across from someone they havenā€™t met yet. Having conversations that donā€™t fit into a comment section. No followers. No algorithms. No perfectly curated introduction. Just people meeting people. Because sometimes the connection, idea, friendship or opportunity you need isnā€™t another scroll away. Itā€™s in a room you havenā€™t entered yet. Volume 001 gave us a glimpse of that. Volume 002 gives us another reason to put the phones down.
