We hope you can join us Wednesday October 22nd, because we’re throwing a dance party to celebrate our 2 year anniversary of Ecstatic Dance Portland!   We will begin our evening at 7pm with a Heart Opening Yoga Flow led by Jessica Thomas (@jessbryn). Jessica is an artist, yoga teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. We all know this world can feel like a lot right now, and many of us close our hearts in response. This flow will center around the heart space, encouraging openness, freedom, and connection with each other. You’ll be perfectly prepped to dance through your emotions afterward. 💜  We will then dance to a set from PNW favorite, Luke Rain (@lukerainmusic) (https://soundcloud.com/lukerainmusic). Luke Rain is a producer, DJ, performer and educator from Seattle, WA. In both his DJ sets and his production, Luke is able to bend and blend genres across the musical spectrum, flowing effortlessly between bass and hip hop, electronic and organic, left field and pop appeal. A skilled professional DJ with years of experience behind the decks, Luke crafts unique, eclectic sets that allow dancers to flow, move energy and feel embodied. He plays from his extensive library of his favorite tracks across many musical styles, as well as songs he produced for heart centered musicians in the ecstatic community and his own growing catalog of originals, remixes and mash ups. We will close out the evening with a sound healing led by Miniata (Molly Geiger) (@_miniata_).  Molly is a sound healer, singer, songwriter, yoga and dance teacher. She first began experimenting with sound healing using crystal singing bowls to enhance her yoga classes and quickly began to see what a useful tool these instruments are for meditation, connection and reflection. From there she began offering more sound bath experiences, accompanying her singing bowls with her own vocals. See you on the dance floor and let’s celebrate 2 years of dancing together and many more to come @thedenportland this Wednesday the 22nd!

Moment before lift off!! ✨💕✨ Last night @rhythmseedfarm was an otherworldly experience of mantra song transmission with luminous beings gathered together in the magical beauty of the Autumn garden in Full bloom!! 🌻💐🌺🌷 We blasted off into the place where the illusion of separation dissolves and only love remains ❤️❤️❤️ The full moon energy was high… the lions portal open and guiding us ✨✨✨ On a night like this, at times the energy feels almost too much to handle. I lean into the mantra and the voices around. Together we come into a new resonant frequency of bliss. 🔱🔥🪷 I am blessed and grateful to play with the incredible musicians of the open heart sangha band !! Providing me the magic carpet on which to fly 🔥 Thanks also to the powerful humans who came out to join us with hearts and voices. 🕉️ We are stronger together🙏🏽 Love is the way forward in all situations 💕 Jai baba Neem karoli maharaji ki jai! ✨🙏🏽🕉️🔥

The heart center has been holding some sweet deepening these last months. As an in-person community space, the threads of interconnectivity and shared tenderness continue to ask me to soften, trust the process, and keep showing up imperfectly. Witnessing the care and talents of everyone and sharing food, connection and meditation practice together has been bringing such good nourishment in this time. Check out this beautiful mural from @jessbryn so happy to be in community with you and already feeling the magic of these golden mycelial threads transforming throughout the place! 💚✨#portlandhealers #portlandartist #communitycare
