September birthday exchanges 🥳✨

This September we celebrated the birthdays of 4 beautiful book club members @lauren_burgess27, @katiemaymalbon96, @jessiewelsh and @bookish_josie, who are part of our birthday exchanges. Here are the books they got from their wish lists! Happy reading gals ❤️💗

Spot any books that are on your wish list too?! 👀

It was so much fun seeing our exchanges work for the first time. A huge thank you to @reading_with_zena for the idea and organisation, and to @rowey_reads, @maxine_mallory26 and @bethanykatec for your terrific job at coordinating 🌟💫

📸 September meetings

Ahhh so many lovely happy faces this month as we met to chat all about Nightshade by @autumnwoods.author 🖤

✨ On Thursday night we were in the cellar @thesilkhouseleek, such a wonderful setting to talk about this gothic romance!

✨Friday night we were back @therabbitholetearoom for the 2nd year in a row. They always go the extra mile to look after us, even making book club cake toppers and adding quotes to the tea cups 🥹❤️

✨Today we visited @bemorebear in uttoxeter for the first time. The iced cornflake oat latte was 👌🏻🤤. Such a great range of food and drinks!!

What a lovely month and already excited to meet again soon xxx

I don’t feel ready for the Summer holidays to be over, but I am excited for cosy sweaters, knitted hats, big scarves and even bigger Autumn Adventures.

🇬🇧 VE DAY 🇬🇧

Today marks 80th anniversary of victory in Europe day. Marking the end of the Second World War.

These are little throw back prints and photos of a print I loved and although my husband doesn’t serve anymore we are a military family at heart and proud of the country my husband served for his career ❤️

🌿 A Sleepy Bee 🌿

A creative 5 minutes to capture a sleeping herbie as it’s be a while since I done one of these and they are my favourite 🌿

Also showcasing this beautiful romper that we were kindly sent by the lovely Jess @welshandwool 🐝 imagine a smaller one of these on a newborn babe 🤍

Happy Sunday lovelies ✨

Well there we have it - only one week left of the summer holidays! I would like you all to share your favourite memory of summer 2024, I love hearing everyone’s adventures! Mine was a beach trip we did with friends, it was lots of fun and also spending a lot of time with my Mum and her partner, Aria has a great bond with them both.

Let’s hear yours!

✨ S A I L F O R T H E S T A R S ✨

We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.

The sun is FINALLY here! It’s due to be nice all weekend and I am so happy about it. We are meeting friends after school for fish and chips down by the waterfront, which is a favourite of ours to do in the nice weather. What is your favourite thing to do in the sunshine?
