Wait for the next collaboration. I love how much you loved #22B and chose it for the final cut. Ate zown. I’ve been in an emotional blender but creatively the smoothies bouta pouuur. Be kind and don’t take people or yourself for granted. It’s not easy being human but it is ultimately the point. As always, keep it locked #muties I ain’t forgot ya.

🪩 ARTIST HIGHLIGHT : TREEE CITY b2b UYMAMI 🪩

Uymami + Treee City aren’t just DJs… they’re the architects of the MOODBOARD experience.

Uymami ( @uymamidj ) serves up beats as bold and delicious as her name suggests. Known for her brand of “culture clash discotheque” she blends house, perreo, pop and darbuka-tinged club sets that leave no hips unshaken; she’s a vibe curator with a deep love for community and culture.

Treee City ( @treeecity ), co-founder of @partyillegal and @blends_with_friends , weaves  genre-bending rhythms with raw, bass-heavy emotion. Think dreamy club edits, gritty breaks, and unpredictable turns — always rooted in movement, connection, and low-frequency pressure.

Together, they’re a powerhouse of dancefloor magic. Expect tastefully selected edits and a synced yet surprising B2B for collective release and maximum fun.

Grab tickets now, before the price goes up at the door!

Saxapahaw, NC isn’t known for being a hip-hop hotbed, and @tre.charlz isn’t really a hip-hop artist, at least not in the strict conventional sense. But both featured on the site/newsletter yesterday, because genre rigidity is overrated (and because like Cartman, we do what we want). Whatever you call it, Charles’s evocative, emotionally arresting music — pulling together influences from hip-hop, alt-R&B, 90’s rock and more — has been steadily picking up steam ever since the release of his first EP, Currently., just two years ago. With a fresh followup project out now and a healthy slate of live shows ahead for the summer, @jeyhoun caught up with him right before he took the stage at ‘Saturdays in Saxapahaw’ for a new portraiture series we’re calling “Pre-Show.” Scroll to see Jey’s Kodak Portra shots here, and read Tre’s pre-show thoughts at the link in bio. 🎸
