I recently learned the myth of Kassandra, a beautiful woman of Troy, whom Apollo became infatuated with, bestowing upon her, the gift of seeing the future, promising him her favors in return. Going back on her word he cursed her, uttering true prophecies, never to be believed.

A tale from the past, rendered by the future.

I'm making it a habit not to bring my phone with me. Especially if I think it's going to be an awe inspiring time. Even though I'd like to capture it and share it, it's more important for me now to be present and let the moment seer itself into my subconscious. Then again friends are sometimes there to capture it anyways.
