Well that was fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to hang with. Grateful to everyone who showed up last night…I’ll definitely be doing this again.

Massive shout out to @brigadeusa and Brooklyn’s coolest new parents @enduringthewaves and @sarahmaldonaudio for letting us crash the pad.

Tried to squeeze in as many photos as I could here so if I missed someone or missed a tag, just lmk. See ya next time NYC 🫶

$A little Thanksgiving reflection: I’m so incredibly grateful for my friends, family, health, and that I get to live a life where my biggest worries revolve around running silly races in remote places. . I had a big year planned out, focused entirely on one goal: the Kodiak 100 in October. Started the year strong with a gut check at the Fierce Dragon 100, followed by my first race being coached by @stefanieannflippin with a massive PR at the ATL marathon. From April on, I had some great races (looking at you Loop the Hooch) and training, but I started having some major left leg issues that culminated into a tibial stress fracture in June - no wonder Badder Marsh sucked this year 🥴 . I took a 2-month break from running at that point which was depressing to say the least, but it was absolutely imperative. Now I’m on the mend, building on steady, flat treadmill miles with a bigger focus on strength, cross training, and nutrition. Running is actually fun again - no races, no pacing goals, just enjoying being active and healthy. . But look at what else this year had to offer! Went to some amazing concerts, crewed for @b.c.0.n at the GA Death Race, got to see my best friends get married in Mexico, helped raise money for @jamforcam, joined my friend Kallup in his run across America (!!), celebrated Gram’s 95th birthday (!!!), and got to coach some friends thru an amazing NY marathon block. . Grateful for this life and looking forward to what’s next ✌️$
