Where should I start?! What should I do? What if my gym is closed? Getting started on your fitness Ascent can be tough. It doesn’t help that the internet and social is flooded with information. Sometimes contradictory information. Our goal with Ascent Strength is to simplify fitness and not make it feel overwhelming. So if you’re struggling with how to get started start here 👇🏻 Start walking. 🚶🚶🏾🚶‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏽 It’s not fancy. It won’t leave you feeling exhausted or sore. It’s not trendy. But it’s something. It’s better than doing nothing and it’s a great excuse to get outside. And one incredible thing about fitness is it’s compounding effect. No matter where you start. That 10 minute walk can lead to better decisions at meal time. That daily walk might push you into the gym. Before you know it you’re back on track with healthy daily habits. I thought of this message after watching Jeremy’s story last night. Its a change from my typical posts but I think it’s important. Walking doesn’t seem like much by itself but it gets you moving outside. And that can lead to bigger things. So if you’re struggling with when and where to start, get outside and start walking. Tag someone you can get started with and join us! Never stop Ascending!
