Reference ranges are built from the general population. Most of those people didn't do eight sets of hacks the day before their blood test.

AST and ALT are the two markers that freak out GPs the most with lifters. ALT mostly lives in the liver. AST lives in the liver and in muscle. Train hard and both can jump, which looks like liver damage on paper when it's really just muscle damage from your session.

If yours come back high, don't guess. Check these alongside them.

CK. This is a muscle marker. If it’s through the roof, your training is the likely reason your liver enzymes look ugly.

GGT. This one is far more liver specific. If AST and ALT are up but GGT is normal, it points towards muscle. If GGT is up too, take it seriously.

ALP and bilirubin. These help show whether the liver itself is under stress or not.

Then retest properly. Five to seven days with no heavy training, well hydrated, no alcohol, fasted. If the numbers come down, it was your training. If they don’t, that’s a conversation with your GP, especially if you’re running orals, drinking regularly or carrying a lot of body fat.

Context turns a scary number into a useful one. If you’ve got bloods sitting in your inbox and no idea what they actually mean for your training, DM me. That’s part of what I do with every client.

Come to chiro with me 🤍

My focus in this phase is holistic health — because the comeback is bigger than just getting back in the gym.

Food. Hydration. Training. Lymphatic drainage. Chiro. Sauna. Recovery. Rest. 🫶🏼

It ALL matters.

9 weeks post-op and this is my season to slow down, rebuild properly and give my body everything it needs to come back stronger. No rushing it. No skipping the foundations.

Recovery is part of the work. And I’m here to get it right. 🔥

GRWM ✨ 9 weeks post-op.

Today wasn’t about smashing a workout or hitting numbers — it was a recovery day. Chiro appointment, infrared sauna and actually giving my body some time to heal. 🤍

Something I’m learning more and more is that becoming the best version of yourself isn’t just about training harder or eating better.

It’s the bigger picture.

Training. Nutrition. Recovery. Rest. Mobility. Looking after your body and knowing when it needs MORE… and when it needs LESS.

After everything my body has been through over the last 9 weeks, I’m slowly finding my rhythm again — building strength, getting back into training, but also making recovery just as much of a priority.

Because consistency doesn’t always look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like choosing what your body actually needs that day. 🫶🏼

9 weeks post-op and feeling more like ME every week.

What is that muscle twitch during dry needling? 👀

It’s called a local twitch response an involuntary muscle contraction caused by the needle stimulating the muscle.

Couldn’t have asked for a better result, perfectly peaked by @allenmao90
The man the wizard supported me through the entire day and days leading up to the show when I was spiraling and in my own head. Didn’t think I would do as good as I did I was contempt with just achieving the best look I’ve ever had. Yet we came away with first call out in every division and two placing in masssssively stacked line ups. I’m so happy and proud to have smashed my expectations and couldn’t have asked for a better coach to get me there! Fkn love you mayo man you really display so much care and thought and even little things like calling me almost daily to set me straight goes to show your true passion and care for your athletes.

Very happy with this outcome and now to replicate the peak with better condition and posing for my all time best package for NATIONALS!
