These have been the most exciting few days✨
For the first time, after having known each other online for several years, I got to meet @jhocy 🇦🇪.
We have had some wonderful days with @jhocy and her hubby. They were a delight to have over, and I already look forward to next time!
Then I made a new friend in @southknits who came to visit her brother who coincidentally works together with my hubby. With knitting, you always have a lot in common, and when my friend Hilde(at Sandnes Garn) kindly said yes to do a tour at the mill, I invited her along with us. With the help of IG, we knew who we were looking for😅 even it we had never met before.
Today I managed to make time to meet up at a cafe with Ele, we got to chat and knit a few rows. Feeling very blessed, knitting friends are the best!🧶 🌎

Love these socks!

Shorties, flap and gusset with rounded heel, round toe.

My phone camera does not do the colourway justice. Lindsay created magic with this colourway. This is Sorcerer Supreme, part of her original Crafters Assemble collection.

So exciting to have the dyer and yarn shop owner Dubai Knits visit the shop. She’s on vacation here with her husband and also visiting our mutually good friend aka Sock Linda. It was wonderful to swap a few techniques and I just love when you can instantly have rapport because of yarn no matter where you live in the world. #handdyedyarn #yarndyersofinstagram #yarnfriendsrock #yarnfriends #yarnfriendsarethebestfriends #yarnfriendsaroundtheworld #theroyalbeeyarncompany #theroyalbeeyarnco #lys #localyarnshop

We knit everywhere. Even in art galleries surrounded by stunning, inspiring, beautiful works of art by Pacita Abad.

You cannot walk among these exquisitely detail-oriented trapunto paintings and not get inspired to give it a try. So, JKD folks, get your arts and crafts supply ready, in 2022 we’re doing trapunto painting!

Thank you @jameelartscentre for creating this beautiful space. Also a cafe would be nice. Just saying.

Touchstone shawls all around!

Everyone’s enjoying the rhythm of the garter stitch and eyelet rows.

Have you cast on yours?
