A little gym etiquette goes a long way. 🖐️

We love you, just don’t make us send in The Big Hand. 😂

Keep your space clean, put things back where they belong, and help us keep Backyard the place we all love.

Don’t make us say “talk to the hand.” 😏✋

Just a few house rules. We promise, it’s all in the name of keeping Backyard the best place to show up. 🫶

Disclaimer: the hand is mostly harmless. 😘

Jillian here 👋 Just popping in to give a very public thank you to everyone at Backyard who hears “I have an idea…” and somehow doesn’t immediately run away.

Whether I’m asking you to get on camera, say something ridiculous, wear something questionable, climb on top of a stack of boxes, or participate in whatever concept @laurmkrich & I have cooked up that day…you guys almost always say yes. 😂

Turns out the secret to successful social media is a community willing to commit to the bit. And we really do have the best one. 🫶

Thank you for keeping my camera roll chaotic and Backyard fun. Please never start saying no to me.

Just do the damn thing. Try it.

We say those things all the time, but being new at something — and knowing you might not be good at it yet — is HARD. There’s also something pretty great about proving to yourself that you can do it anyway.

That was exactly what was going through my head when I decided to join Backyard Run Club Saturday morning.

I’ve been part of a run club before, but that was during marathon training when I was somewhere in the middle of a big group of charity runners. This time I knew going in that I’d probably be last. Their “party pace” isn’t exactly my party pace 🤣 But I showed up anyway.

And yep, I was last BUT I never felt alone!

I started out strong, was very grateful for the lights 🙌🏼, and ran consecutively longer than I have in YEARS. Friends hung back, we yapped, we ran, and we got it done.

Saturday Run Club, I’ll be back. The plan? Keep showing up, get a little stronger and a little faster each time.

Shoutout to @jneeson @jillianstira @bailsmong @drblotempio for the miles and the yapping. 🫶🏼

Did we crush it or did it crush us? Reading this, I’ll let you decide 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️
