What a weekend at @ausfitnessexpo in Sydney! 💪🔥 The crowd, the atmosphere and the hype around Asylum, sponsored by @kamikaze.energy and @stand_or_submit, were absolutely unreal. It was an absolute blast being part of a weekend where so many records were broken. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step onto that stage and compete. Unfortunately, the U/105 Australian record will stand for a little longer… but I can promise you this: Next year, it’s getting broken. 🦏🔥 I’ll be back stronger, better prepared and ready to finish the job. Competing alongside @jimmmyd88 pushed me to step it up and give everything I had. Nothing better than having someone there who forces you to raise your game. Was honoured to be asked by @the_strength_junction to shoot Qld’s Strongest Man and Woman last weekend. It was a fantastic two days of Strongman action, full of excitement and sportsmanship, the hallmarks of Strongman. Queensland’s Strongest Man & Woman was a blast 💥 💃🏻 @strengthzen__ dusted his u90 big boi pants off and became Queensland’s Strongest Man u90! So proud of him & excited to watch him tick off another u90 Nationals 🫶🏼 @chantelle_gauci_ was SO brave & also became Queensland’s Strongest u82 in her FIRST ever strongman comp. Has had the shortest prep ever & has a bad habit of dropping stones on her feet, BUT is so brave & big & strong 🤺 Excited for whatever she chooses to do next but do quietly hope she stays in the 82s to beef up our class & give us a run for our money!❤️‍🔥 As always was such a fun day out on crew with @australias.strongest and @the_strength_junction. @benchimus_primal & @little.meeks ran an excellent comp with big mama @just_tif__ being the backbone of it all. 🫶🏼 @teamstrongmanway @cerberus_strength

There’s been a lot of talk about people and organisations in this sport needing to “do better.” So I figured before Queensland’s Strongest Man & Woman kicks off, I should probably say a few things. About why I took this on. About the people who trusted me, backed some questionable ideas, tolerated the relentless harassment and helped turn what was in my head into an actual competition. About the people nobody sees who make the whole thing possible. And about what I expect from everyone once it’s over. This isn’t a victory lap. I still have time to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s just something I wanted to say before the first athlete steps onto the floor. There are a few thank-yous, a little self-reflection, some mild abuse and at least one deeply inappropriate closing statement. Swipe through. Queensland’s Strongest Man & Woman 2026 starts this weekend. Now let’s see if all this shit actually goes to plan.

⚓ OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN INFORMATION — QUEENSLAND’S STRONGEST MAN & WOMAN 2026 ⚓ With competition weekend almost here, here’s everything athletes need to know about the official weigh-in for Queensland’s Strongest Man & Woman. 📍 THE STRENGTH JUNCTION 📅 Friday 21 August ⏰ 9:00am until late We will also have a final weigh-in opportunity on Saturday morning before 8:00am for athletes unable to attend Friday. IMPORTANT — THERE WILL BE NO REMOTE WEIGH-INS. All athletes must weigh in in person at The Strength Junction. Please make arrangements to attend during one of the available periods. Weigh-in will also be your official athlete check-in. At this time you will: • Complete your official competition weigh-in • Collect your athlete bag • Collect your competition shirt/s • Have your official athlete photo taken for the StrengthTech app Please allow enough time to complete the entire check-in process rather than arriving just to jump on the scales. If you are competing in a weight class, making weight remains the athlete’s responsibility, so plan your weigh-in time accordingly. Once you’ve weighed in, collected your gear and had your photo taken, you’re checked in and ready for the weekend. 🏴‍☠️ QUEENSLAND’S STRONGEST MAN & WOMAN 📅 22–23 August 2026 📍 The Strength Junction The work is done.
