Flashback to last week, when we officially launched @austandpoint! 📸

The photos are in and they’re too bloody good not to share.

A room full of good people, great conversations, a few laughs and a whole lot of excitement about what’s ahead.

Still feeling pretty chuffed by the number of people who came out to celebrate with us.

And if we’re being honest, we scrubbed up alright too. 🔥

Here’s a little look back at a pretty speccy night.

Next week we'll be sharing our new website. In the meantime, reach out if there's anything you need a hand with!

Well, we’re officially launched. 🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate the launch of Standpoint Consulting with us. It was pretty special to have so many friends, colleagues, clients and supporters in the room.

A particular thank you to Deputy Premier @kyam.maher for officially launching @austandpoint and helping us kick things off properly.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’re building, and especially proud to be working side by side with @jindawayni

Two independent consultancies, bringing different strengths and perspectives, backing each other and doing good work together.

Thanks as well to the brilliant team at @galleryadelaide for looking after us and making the night such a good one.

Our website will be live next week, and there’s plenty more to come.

For now, thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate the beginning of Standpoint ❤️

Late change of plan. For the first time we’ll have singer songwriting Andrew McSweeney joining us On the Couch as our resident musician. Described as having the voice of an angel Andrew has been writing songs and music since he was a teenager. He has released seven albums with various lineups, performed and wrote as part of the Kutcha Edwards band, and has had a track cut by Daryl Braithwaite! Current releases are Mountain Song by Andrew McSweeney & The Wishing Horse, and Sangīta Volume 1, by Dipika Delmenico & Andrew. Andrew is also the Director of The School of Loving Music, an arts hub located in the heart of North Melbourne, where he teaches music to children and adults who are at all stages of their musical education. We’re stoked that Andrew can join us on Sunday and look forward to sharing his beautiful voice and presence with you. On the Couch with Beck Lister, Sunday September 6th at 4pm at the Northcote Town Hall. Bookings: wwwonthecouchwithbecklister. Look forward to seeing you! #northcotetownhall #liveart #conversations #melbournearts #chatshow

Can’t wait to introduce @the.desert.swimmer to On the Couch! Brendan’s life as a sheep station manager was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with depression. But he knew it was a turning point and time to find out who he really was. To do this he swam the English Chanel, wrote and launched his first book, the memoir ‘The Desert Swimmer’, and took on new roles as a mental health advocate and mentor. Brendan’s no stranger to pain but recognised that he could help others by sharing his story. Hope you can join us on Sunday September 6th to hear Brendan and our other guests @kphydes and @amy_bodossian share their stories of life, hope, failure, success and their dedication to art.
