Big day for NTX MMA — we had to divide and conquer! One crew was at the Anna Community Boo Bash, meeting families in our community, talking about what we do, and giving hands-on demonstrations. Thank you to the Anna Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to be part of it, and to all the wonderful families who stopped by and chatted with us today — we're looking forward to seeing some of you on the mats soon. The other crew was at the American Grappling Federation Dallas State Championships. Our kids competed against 83 other jiu-jitsu gyms — 84 teams total — and NTX MMA finished **4th overall, 3rd in Gi, and 8th in No-Gi.** That's a serious showing against some of the best gyms in the state. Huge shout out to every athlete who stepped on the mats today. We are super proud of how you performed. And thank you to the parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends who showed up to cheer the team on. This doesn't happen without you.

THREE GRAPPLING ARTS. ONE GYM. BJJ. Wrestling. Judo. They all have one thing in common: control. But each one teaches you a different way to get there. 🥋 BJJ — Control → Submit Position. Patience. Guard work. Submissions. Decision-making. BJJ teaches you how to control the fight on the ground and turn position into a finish. 🤼 Wrestling — Takedown → Control Pressure. Explosiveness. Scrambling. Top control. Wrestling teaches you how to dictate where the fight goes, get there on your terms, and stay in control. 🥋 Judo — Grip → Off-Balance → Throw Timing. Balance. Grip fighting. Throws. Transitions. Judo teaches you to use movement, leverage, and timing to take your opponent’s balance and control the stand-up game. Here’s where it gets good… They cross over. Wrestling sharpens your takedowns and scrambling. Judo changes the way you approach grips, movement, and stand-up. BJJ connects it all with positional control and submissions. At NTX MMA, you don’t have to pick just one. Train all three. Develop the areas where your game is weak. Add more tools to the areas where you’re already strong. Build a higher skill set. Become a more complete grappler. BJJ | WRESTLING | JUDO NTX MMA — Anna, Texas TRAIN. BELONG. GROW.

Three years ago, NTX MMA began as a dream. Today, it’s a thriving family, community, and home for wrestling, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu—and we’re just getting started. First, thank you to my family—Chastity, Summer, and Haleigh. Your sacrifices, support, and belief in this dream have made everything possible. There would be no NTX MMA without you! To our coaches, families, athletes, and supporters: thank you for showing up, putting in the work, and helping build something special. A special thank-you to Professor Virgil, Maggie, Sophia, and Team Dreadnought BJJ for always making the trip to support us. Congratulations to every athlete who ranked up today. Your dedication earned this achievement, and we’re proud to celebrate you. A huge congratulations to Coach Michelle and Coach Josh on earning your black belts! We’re incredibly proud of you and grateful for the example you continue to set. NTX MMA is more than a martial arts gym—it’s a family, a community, and a home. Thank you for trusting us, growing with us, and helping make NTX MMA what it is! Three years down. A lifetime of impact ahead.

This Saturday, we’re opening the doors at NTX MMA for something bigger than just another day of training. This is for our community. Whether you’re a parent, teenager, young adult, grandparent, athlete, or someone who has never stepped inside a martial arts gym before — you’re welcome here. Join us for our Community Self Defense Seminar and learn practical skills that can help you become more aware, more confident, and better prepared to protect yourself and the people you care about. 🥊 COMMUNITY SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR 📅 Saturday, September 19 ⏰ 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM 📍 NTX MMA | 2010 W. White St., Suite 145 | Anna, TX ❤️ Donation based — open to the entire community Male or female. Young or old. Beginner or experienced. You don’t need to be in great shape. You don’t need martial arts experience. Just show up ready to learn. We’ll work on situational awareness, practical self-defense techniques, confidence, and skills you can actually use. This seminar also supports The Empowerment Project, with proceeds helping survivors and efforts to combat violence against women. At NTX MMA, we believe martial arts should do more than build better athletes. It should build stronger people and safer communities. Bring your family. Bring a friend. Bring someone you care about. Anna — this one is for you. We’ll see you Saturday. 📲 Help us reach more of our community by sharing this post and tagging someone you’d like to bring with you.

One week from today, we celebrate three years of NTX MMA right here in Anna. When we opened our doors, the goal was bigger than building a martial arts gym. We wanted a place where families felt at home, kids built confidence and character, adults challenged themselves, and athletes had a place to chase big goals. Three years later, this community has helped us build exactly that. We’ve watched kids grow up on these mats. We’ve celebrated first classes, tournaments, victories and hard-earned promotions. We’ve traveled together, competed together, learned from losses and celebrated some incredible accomplishments. More than anything, we’ve become a family. On September 19th, we want you to celebrate with us! 🇺🇸 NTX MMA 3RD ANNIVERSARY 🥋 9:00 AM | JIU-JITSU BELT PROMOTIONS Come celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our students. 🛡️ 10:30 AM | FREE COMMUNITY SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR Open to the community! Learn practical self-defense, meet our team and spend some time on the mats with us. 📅 September 19th 📍 NTX MMA | Anna, Texas We’re proudly Veteran & Family Owned, members of the Anna Chamber of Commerce, supporters of Anna High School Athletics, and proud to call Anna home. Whether you’ve been here since day one, joined us along the way, or have never stepped onto a martial arts mat — you’re invited. Bring the family. Celebrate with us. Stay for the free seminar. This may be our anniversary, but the celebration belongs to everyone who helped us get here. 👇 NTX MMA family — what’s your favorite memory from the last three years? Drop it below and tag someone who needs to be there September 19th. 🐺🇺🇸 7 DAYS, ANNA. WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE MATS. Three years down. A whole lot more ahead. #AnnaTX #NTXMMA #CommunityFirst #SelfDefense #VeteranOwned #martialarts
