@upshotleague did more than create another league. It created more OPPORTUNITY for the athletes willing to fight for it, more chances to keep building the careers they dreamed about.

To the City of Savannah & THE BEST FANS IN THE LEAGUE, Thank you for welcoming me & trusting me to lead.

To the Sav Steel Front Office, Opps & Enmarket Staff – Thank you for your tireless efforts all season!

@tajmcwilliamsfranklin Your guidance throughout this transition has been insurmountable! Thank you for the work you do to push our league forward & for your advocacy for the women who coach in this league, alongside the players who represent Upshot –night after night. Thank you for your belief & creating more room for all of us to do this work!

@dorender & @akaufmann18 Thank you for believing in Upshot & expanding what’s possible for the women who play in this league!

To my staff: Your dedication. Your openness. The willingness to keep showing up when things got tough! Thank you for celebrating with me through the moments of JOY, like knocking off the regular season champs in our season finale. For ALL OF US, that win felt like our very own championship. A hard-earned ending to a season defined by adversity, resilience, and a whole lot of fight!

To my players – Thank you for your TRUST; Your LOYALTY; Your WILLINGNESS to give me everything you had all season! You came in as individual players. You left as a team. Thank you for your honesty, your vulnerability, and your belief.

I know what it means to trust someone with your career.

You did that with me. And I will carry that with me forever.

I became a better coach. A better leader. And a better student of the game bc of you all!

I’m proud of what we built & I’m proud of the people who built it with me.

Savannah Steel, thank you for giving me a season I will never forget.

Let’s run it back in 2027 🖤
