Stage Hydration Case Study with @jk_pingrey

Water-> hydrates and helps fill muscle

Sodium-> Helps glucose get into cells important for blood glucose, glycogen storage, and muscle contraction

Being lean: Helps with insulin sensitivity which can be helpful for blood glucose levels and glucose into muscle cells which is important for performance and muscle fullness on the stage

The take home keep up with your water/fluids, minerals, and carbohydrates on show day. Do not cut out important nutrients. Modify them? Yes, cut them out? No.

Happy Juneteenth to my beautiful wife and family!

Today is a reminder of the resilience and sacrifices of those who came before us. Without this day and the progress it represents, none of us would be here. It’s a day worth celebrating and honoring.

I’m also celebrating YOU.

Five years ago, you earned your Pro Card. Since then, we’ve built our family, welcomed our kids, and navigated every challenge and blessing along the way. And now, you’ve earned your Pro Card again.

I was proud of you then, proud of you through every step in between, and I’ll be proud of you every day moving forward!

What inspires me most isn’t just the accomplishment—it’s the discipline, consistency, and dedication behind it. You show our kids every day what hard work, perseverance, and commitment look like, and that’s a lesson they’ll carry forever.

Congratulations, babe. Watching you achieve this again has been incredible, and I couldn’t be more proud to call you my wife! ❤️💪🏾🏆

Team Weekend Recap!!

As some of you may know I competed this weekend at the @ocb_naturalspartan . But so did my amazing client @jk_pingrey who competed in open bikini. She set a goal of earning her OCB pro card.

This has been Jordan and I’s first season working together and this was her second show of the season. Jordan has competed in previous seasons so she is not new to the sport, but she did take a few years away from the stage. Starting a family and a business, she is kind of badass. We knew from the first show we needed her a little leaner and to fill her out more.

Fast forward to this weekend and Jordan comes in 2.5lbs leaner, fuller, and goes from a 3rd place finish a few weeks ago to becoming your 2026 @ocbspartan open overall Bikini Champion earning her OCB pro card and the best poser award.

Another fun highlight from this weekend is since Jordan earned her pro card that made two pro card wins for this weekend which meant bringing home another team award. That makes 4 team awards in the past 5 years. Saying I am truly blessed is putting it lightly.

Thank you Jordan for having me be apart of your journey and trusting me when I said you need more water lol.

I am incredibly grateful for all of my clients and the hard work they put in each day. Congratulations Jordan, I am so proud of you.

What a weekend!!

This weekend I competed at the @ocb_naturalspartan . Yes, I am a pro in other organizations. But at one point there was not a lot of OCB shows in our area. Over the years more shows have come to the Midwest.

I wanted to earn my OCB pro card and I have never competed in North Dakota so competing at this show seemed like a great opportunity.

The show started off with mens bodybuilding. There were two groups with 7 in the short group and 7 in the tall group (14 total bodybuilders). Winner of each group goes to the overall for a chance to earn that OCB pro card. This was no easy task. Tough competitors and a lot of time on stage.

I am blessed to announce that I was able to earn the best poser award, open short class win, and the open overall earning my OCB pro card. I repeat, I am incredibly blessed and grateful. This was something I wanted to earn for a long time and as I mentioned it was no easy task.

We will see what the rest of this season brings. I am just taking everything week by week at this point. Ready to get back home to @taykjergaard , Myles, Koa, and Cece. It was tough not being with them. But I am thankful to have had the opportunity to compete in front of my parents, friends, and clients. More on the clients competing and coaching to come.

For now, I am going to have a couple simple yet nice meals. Happy Sunday everyone.

All the love,
Austin

Show number 2 for the season is done and it was so amazing to compete at home!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came to the show or sent me encouraging words throughout the day ☺️ the support is truly incredible!

The feedback from the last show was to come in leaner and we definitely did that!

I truly think I came into this show with my best overall look I’ve ever had

I’ll let you in on a little secret…

This wasn’t even my idea. Jordan (a repeat client of mine 🥹) reached out asking if we could do a session like this for Mother’s Day, and I was immediately obsessed. It was just as fun as it was cute!! 🤎

Do you have an idea for a shoot you want to bring to life?! I’m your girl!
