In Spring Training, Trevor Megill pulled a baseball card of Mr. October himself for the Players Collection. Was it a sign of the season to come? 👀

Never actually lined up for a release event prior to this, but found my way to a Target yesterday on release day for the 30th Anniversary Pokemon release. Managed to snag some cool stuff and some ETB’s for the PC. Opened a few packs and sure enough the first pack I opened had one of the top chasers and probably one of favorite artworks, the Mewtwo EX full art with the Celebrations colorful pikachu stamp.
I also pulled this cool Morpeko full art.

Hopefully everyone had some luck with their 30th anniversary pulls!

Showing off another Charizard from the collection, ironically not my favorite of the Pokémon. Can get into that later on.
I pulled this back in 2024 when I ordered some guaranteed rainbow foil backs of the Topps Pokemon movie edition. It was my third pack opening and this guy showed up, it was the chase for me so I left the rest of the packs sealed. These cards are known to stick after sitting for a long time and this was sadly the issue with this one. It was stuck to the back of another card and pulled some of the foil off when separating them. Thus resulting in the grade of a 6.

⚾ Meet the 1952 Bowman Willie Mays — one of the most iconic cards of “The Say Hey Kid.”

Released during Mays’ early years with the New York Giants, this card captures a young superstar at the beginning of a legendary Hall of Fame career. Mays’ incredible legacy makes this a true cornerstone of any serious baseball collection.

A piece of baseball history from one of the greatest to ever play the game. ⚾

Now with the football season starting, we have this Drake Maye true green /99 from 2024 Topps Chrome. This was one of my big pulls from a retail blaster. Although it is unlicensed, hard to beat one of the top rookie chases from that year.

Subbed to PSA before the extremely high raised prices for grading and was excited to see it come back as a 10.

Currently sitting in the PC, but this one for the right price could be let go.
