Super cool card @jl_deviants made for me! Also the photo he used was pre-2022 before I did my trip out West!

Thanks for the gift!

Eight years ago, we had an idea. We never imagined it would grow into the biggest indoor car show in Minnesota.

Looking back, it’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant. It was never just about the cars, it was about the people. The friendships I’ve made, the memories we’ve created, and the stories so many of you have shared about how this community has impacted your lives are what kept us pushing year after year. Those moments reminded us why we did it.

To every person who attended, volunteered, showcased a build, supported us, or simply believed in what we were creating, thank you. You helped turn a dream into something far bigger than we ever expected.

While it’s bittersweet to say this chapter has come to an end, I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. The memories will last forever, and so will the relationships that came from it.

Modest might be done… but we ain’t going anywhere

Out here at Sugar Daddys for the @sixfiguresexotics #gearsandgarters season opener! Last show until mid-July as I’ll be doing some interior work in June for the camper. Prime spot parking! Hehehe….🤭

It’s official, I’ve had this R for a decade now. Went to Chicago to pick this up and have been loving it since. This was the very first photo I took of it just before we headed back home.

It took some time but having this carbon kit from @ct_carbon was definitely worth the wait. It changes my RS3 just enough without being over the top. Super happy with this purchase and love driving this car even more now!

Sometimes the best builds aren’t the ones you expect.

Caught up with Joey and his rare Volvo V70 R finished in one of the most sought-after specs, complete with Atacama interior… but what stole the show was what was following behind it.

Not just a trailer — a half-cut V70R camper build made from the rear section of another Volvo V70 R, reimagined into a rolling family camp rig.

And the details are what make it special:
The windows still work.
The sunroof still works.
The rear doors still function.
Even the old fuel filler has been repurposed with a NOCO plug-in since the gas tank is long gone.

Still a work in progress, but already packed with ingenuity — picnic setup, room for the family and pups, and plans for a rooftop tent to push it even further into micro-overland territory.

This is the kind of oddball engineering that makes car culture fun… part preservation, part fabrication, part adventure rig.

A rare R wagon towing half of itself as a camper? That’s the kind of thing you don’t forget

That one time the homie @jl_deviants @vr_campr went to a @martiniworks event with his 1 and 1/2 car!

S/O to @dakotastonee for covering one of the most unique car/build in MN.
