"It’s been so good seeing so many of you again! After being away for about a year, coming back to St. Charles, catching up, and being around familiar faces has been such a joy. It's a new season, a new chapter and I’m grateful to be here. I’m back to studying and have started another year of my Master’s (already 3 weeks in!). It’s a journey of learning, growing, and discovering where God is leading me. Grateful for the prayers, love, and support that continue to follow me along the way. Thank you always." - J'Lani De Four

J'Lani was featured in The Catholic News last year and is sharing his story of faith and educational pursuits one year later! "One lesson that has stayed with me is the importance of listening. Psychology is much more than understanding mental health; it is about understanding people—their stories, struggles, strengths, and resilience." Read his full story at catholicnewstt.com A movie fundraiser will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 7 p.m. at MovieTowne, Port of Spain. Tickets are $175 per person or $300 for two. On April 11 and 12, Chestnut Hill College students traveled to Ocean Grove, NJ for "The In-Between" — Campus Ministry’s 2026 Spring Retreat. A weekend of stepping away from the noise, making space for honesty, and remembering that we don’t have to have it all figured out. Grateful for a community willing to lean into the in-between. 🌊

On March 16, Mission Week 2026 began with our Student Panel on Cultural Inclusion on Campus. From lived experiences to honest conversations about campus culture, we explored what it truly means to create spaces where everyone feels they belong. We were reminded that inclusion is not just a far off concept but something we practice every day. It is intentional, it is sometimes difficult, and it requires both effort and boundaries… yet it can begin with something as simple as a hello! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible panelists for your honesty and insight: Rumaysa Gharbi @chc.msa Roxana Mendoza @chclavozlatina Lyrics Halton @bsu.chc Tiayo Adelekan @chc_wbb J'Lani De Four @chcmissionandministry Special thanks to @chcstudentlife and the Office of DEI for your collaboration and support in making this space possible. Shout out to Malcolm Day @malcolmday_ for setting the tone, Haraz Coffee @hrzcoffeefishtown for the refreshments and one of our very own Student Workers, John Patterson, @creative_outlook_media for coverage of the Panel. To all faculty, staff, and students, thank you for showing up, leaning in, and growing together as a community. This is just the beginning! Stay tuned and continue engaging with the rest of Mission Week. The conversation doesn’t stop here. 🤍 #MissionWeek2026 #StudentPanel #ChestnutHillCollege
