She trembled in the corner she has called home for over a month. But today she finally got the courage to trust. To take a chance and allow herself to be vulnerable. @lancaster.volunteer.jackie was able to build trust with Koda and finally get her to come out of her kennel! And what she discovered was that life can still be good, people can still be kind… she just needs time. Koda is facing euthanasia simply because she is scared. When all she wants to feel safe! Isn’t that what we all want? Outside of the noisy kennel Koda absolutely came alive. She wanted cuddles and to belong, she SMILED for the first time! How incredible it was to be a small part of that….
