POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As you’ve likely read in People Magazine, each year I post one un-retouched bikini photo of myself taken on or around my birthday, showing all the imperfect goods. It’s my feminist ‘don’t-tell-me-what-to-do-at-my-age’ act of defiance, and I can promise you’ll see my saggy arse in a swimsuit when I’m 104. Anyway, we took a reallly long vacation during my favorite month (August!) because we have decided we are not going to waste a single summer. I have been very lazy and got almost nothing important accomplished. I packed my gym clothes but did not work out even once in five weeks. Sometimes I remembered to take my vitamins- yay! I took gobs of pictures and although very few people give a crap, I will for sure post more because this is a digital scrapbook of my life, for me. (Kids- In the early 2000’s we spent a LOT of time making paper scrapbooks where we took developed photos and cut them into shapes, then glued them into books with cute stickers- insane right?!) Here in this exhibit you will find family, friends, nature, Eivind, the lake, Jane and more Jane. But as my pal T. Swift said, August slipped away like a moment in time. Now it’s back to work and I’m trapped in a window seat on a 12 hour flight next to a super tall Korean kid. So I’m just gonna stare at these pictures, imagine the smell of the pines, and pretend I’m on a lounge chair on the dock. Missing Idaho and every one of you!

Spring shredding in the PNW is about as good as it gets. The past couple days riding with old friends at @crystalmountain and my wife @snowbeck12 at @therealmtbakerskiarea has been a fantastic finale! #thankyousnowboarding

Happy birthday to the guy who could kill a man while wearing a friendship bracelet and look good doing it…. This is a small sampling of moments from the last year. We all love you so much… thank you for bringing love and light everywhere you go.

If I’ve learned anything in the last 40 years, it’s that the people who come into your world help set the course of your river and keep it flush with the elixir of life. That good spirits seem to find each other and illuminate the universe together.

My friends—they feel like they’re fantasy, but they’re real. Very real. And true and authentic and fun and smart and kind and creative and strong and wildly inspiring.

If you know ANY of them, you know. Riiight?!?

Well, guess what? This weekend so, so many of them came together—in da same place!—and I got to experience all that magic collide. How spectacular! Thank you, friends, for helping me turn the dial up a decade higher!

Thank you for riding, for camping, for cooking brilliant tacos, lighting up the night, dancing, hiking, skiing, baking mouth-watering brownies, eating pie, bringing the best Pilsner batch to date, laughing, singing, and introducing the second generation to this incredibly special place.

I’m not sure how I got so lucky — who are you people?!? — but godddd damnnnn, here’s to growing older in Never-Neverland!

Photos by @ribbonsinsticksmedia Thank you, sir! And, everyone, for one hell of a time! 🙏🏻❤️

This weekend we got to celebrate the best human on the planet @mtntracksmedia and her 40 years of making life more awesome for everyone in her orbit. Big rides, big dance energy, all the friends, mega views, a random pie eating contest, an insane taco fest and so many hugs. We love you huge ADRIENNNEEEE! Hat tip to @mountainmind @ribbonsinsticksmedia @one_short_life and Frankie for the clips!
