Man, this is so sad to read. Even the people who make us smile can be fighting battles we don’t see.
Crushed by reports of the passing of @rjmitte , best known for his role as Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad, at just 34 years old. RIP RJ Mitte.
A county official confirmed to TMZ that RJ died Monday in Texas. It is being told he died by suicide. However a cause of death investigation is ongoing. As we wait for more confirmed details, this is a reminder of why mental health awareness matters so much. You never truly know what someone may be carrying behind the scenes. A smile doesn’t tell the whole story, and success doesn’t make someone immune to pain.
At You Are More, we believe awareness without action is just noise. Check on your people. Listen without judgment. Make space for honest conversations. And remind the people in your life that they don’t have to face their struggles alone.

A little recap of a really special weekend with my You Are More family. 🤍

I’m honestly so proud of this team. Watching everyone show up, put in the work, support each other, and continue to believe in our mission means more than I can put into words.

This weekend, we got to enjoy an amazing night at Ego Pro Wrestling and attend The Spot movie premiere, all while continuing our mission of raising funds for Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️💗

I took some time last week to get to know someone that I thought I knew better than anyone: myself.

I learned that the only reason I have felt trapped the past few months has been because I locked myself in a cage. I would dim my own light and downplay my own accomplishments. The result? I felt like I was always clawing myself out in the dark. I had evidence I could do it, but still had no confidence. I promised myself to change that about myself.

Ultimately, that's why I changed my social media handles. There is more to me than just MMA and fitness. And I'm finally ready to share all of me. The good. The bad. And everything I'm still figuring out.

If there are people in your life who don’t bring you peace or who consistently bring out a worse version of you, it’s okay to walk away.
Not everyone who was part of your past deserves to be part of your future.
I was watching a sermon online that really impacted me. One of the messages was simple but powerful: if we don’t like the outcome, we need to change the input.
Sometimes that means unfriending people. Sometimes it means choosing not to watch certain shows or movies. Sometimes it means creating distance from environments or friendships that pull you away from the person you’re trying to become.
We become a reflection of what and who we surround ourselves with or consume. Having the right people in your life goes a long way.
For me, burnout is very real. I have a hard time saying no. I want to help everyone, say yes to everything, and sometimes forget that I’m not meant to carry everything by myself.
This weekend is a stacked You Are More weekend, and I’m incredibly grateful for my team stepping up and carrying some of the weight. They’ve reminded me that I’m not carrying this alone.
Sometimes God answers our prayers through the people He places around us. 🙏
Thank You, God, for this message, for the people in my life, and for the reminder that protecting your peace isn’t selfish it can be necessary.
I hope whoever needed this message today found it. ❤️

We all wear masks.

The fighter.
The coach.

Sometimes those masks help us survive. But strength isn’t pretending nothing hurts.

It’s okay to take the mask off.
It’s okay to be vulnerable.
It’s okay to let people see the person underneath.
